    Hooroo, Mate.

In your mind, perhaps. To me, people who start and/or orchestrate wars are never heroes. People who fight in them who display courage and/or perform bravely over-and-above the call of duty are, by definition, heroes. Unless, of course, I completely misunderstand the definition of the word. All together now.."We will be Heroes, just for one day..."

    John Tyndall & Nick Griffin

I think the BBC could have had far more fun if they didn't have such woolly liberals on the panel. Get Peter Hitchens and Kelvin MacKenzie on and see them both squirm to convince the public that there is more than a fag paper between their views and the aforementioned Mr Griffin...

    The Dead Of 2009

Nooooooooooooo. I saw Flowered Up live in Exeter once and they perfectly complimented whatever substances I had been taking that evening. I'm off to find my vinyl single of "Take It" and give it a listen for the first time in well over a decade. RIP Liam From Flowered Up to pushing up daisies....

Irate Visitors Rage Here, If You Must.

Good to see you move with the times there, Disgusted. Seeing how this fancy new-fangled Internet is quickly filling up with vulgar filth, perhaps you might like to investigate another new source of home-based entertainment. I believe it's called tele-vision or somesuch. Better be quick though, before any family-oriented music-hall type light entertainment is taken over by soft core porn-filled, US-centric, violence-based crime pseudo-dramas. [edit]D'oh. Too late. How typical that you should pick on television as your example of home-based entertainment rather than a good book or newspaper. Speaks volumes. For your information I did rent a television to see what it was like but returned it the next day despairing at the poor quality of the broadcast material. I picked television as an example of an entertainment system that "has been invented" recently. Unless you really are some sort of complete ignoramus -- which appears to be a distinct possibility -- you would probably already be aware that the printed word was not invented recently. And if you think television is my home-based entertainment method of choice, then that speaks volumes for you. I can assure you it is not. Yes honez you are quite right, my mistake. Although not any sort of ignoramus (my IQ is well into triple figures) I think I'm already in over-my-head here. I certainly wasn't expecting such a well crafted and well directed riposte and as I have no television, will be spending the next few minutes searching out an apt and amusing "e-m-o-t-i-c-o-n" with which to end this post...... aaaah here's the one *swivel on this you mvtherfvcker* ..and with that final line Disgusted clambered off his high horse.

People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive

If you call that living! On a serious note, Dickie surely has to be the replacement as the mascot DL pick when the cheap wine and over-abundance of cancer causing sunshine on the Algarve finally does for Dunn. I second that, but Dunn has a few mles left on the clock I reckon. He's 90 next year!
