How typical that you should pick on television as your example of home-based entertainment rather than a good book or newspaper. Speaks volumes. For your information I did rent a television to see what it was like but returned it the next day despairing at the poor quality of the broadcast material. I picked television as an example of an entertainment system that "has been invented" recently. Unless you really are some sort of complete ignoramus -- which appears to be a distinct possibility -- you would probably already be aware that the printed word was not invented recently. And if you think television is my home-based entertainment method of choice, then that speaks volumes for you. I can assure you it is not. Yes honez you are quite right, my mistake. Although not any sort of ignoramus (my IQ is well into triple figures) I think I'm already in over-my-head here.
