    That N. Korean Missile

Why don't they have a program in the satellite which, when it is discontinued, sets out a trajectory when it falls to the earth....into the pacific perhaps. I mean if they're clever enough to pinpoint the trajectory of space probes?

Didn't he have cancer too, a few years ago? It all went a bit quiet on that front when he was in Lord of the Rings...

    Derby Dead Pool 2008

Oooh such flattery (waves imaginary fan at himself like some girly character in an 18th Century novel).... I must admit that Scheider was one of my more inspired choices (whereas Ayers and Jay were just plain lucky!). However BS, you've made a moot point about Tolimir. He'd actually be worth 20 points* if he pegs it before November 27th. He's the pick that could be the difference between me winning and getting close. Remember a few years ago when Milosevic snuffed it: Few people backed him to go because the condtradictory reports over his health and then... And then you look at the rest. Pym and Pollack will surely follow. One of Helms and Getty will surely kick the bucket. Heston looks a good each way bet, same with Mortimer, same with Vidal. The only one on my list that I would definitely say will see in 2009, will be Jeremy Thorpe (after reading his very lucid recent interview in the Guardian), and even he's on the list for purely tactical reasons (still in his 70s). So I'm rather hopeful now of getting back into the top 5 after a relatively disappointing 2007.... * - You're right BS, he is worth 18. My mistake... In reference to the tagline for this thread: oooooooooohhhhhhhhh (handbag to chest!)

    Derby Dead Pool 2008

Well I've got to keep you guys off my back haven't I! It's looking good. I've scored more points in the opening 6 weeks of 2008, than I did for the whole of 2007... Here's for the good run to continue...

    The Dead Of 2008

tis a very sad demise. I managed to get all the early series on dvd from someone off Ebay. It really took me back to my school days. Everyone in my school wanted to be a Tucker Jenkins type character. Apart from the odd one who saw themselves more as Gripper We should insist on a 21 pea-shooter salute when they lay the last episode in the BBC archives My era was the Gonch/Cleaver/Ziggy period, but my sentiments are the same. Another Redmond inspired show bites the dust, pity it's not Holyoaks...

All I know is that he recently denied that he is 'gravely ill'. But then so did Suzanne Pleshette.... Incidentially Misers, you said you had a larger list of 68, is that the one for the near 40-yr old deadpool in the US? Yes. The Game gazette pool http://egamegazette.net/ Don Wittman counted in that one. I finished 5th last year and 7th in 2006. No wonder you're doing well! You're the equivalent of a continental player joining the English premiership. We have a couple of regulars out of the DDP this year for whatever reason and so its good that there are new blood that's making an immediated impact and setting the cat among the pidgeons....

    The Deathlisters Alternative Footie Thread

Hopefully the transfer window will open up sooner, rather than later. I already have an eye on a player or 2. FF Tomorrow morning at 5am I believe. Not sure how that relates to your time zone mind. DWB Can you get players in first before you get rid of others or do you have to get rid of players first? There seems to be a limit on squad sizes...

No news on another DDP pick, Baba Amte, but I can report that his housekeeper has been mauled to death by a tiger. Didn't pick Griffiths for DDP, but would be a welcome edition to WDP 2009, if that goes ahead...

    The Dead Of 2008

I think we have been through this before. There is a difference between an 'MP' and a 'former MP'. You got me all excited at the prospect of a by-election there... Sorry.I didnt realise there was that big a difference. So they have an election when an MP dies.Interesting Well if you're that disinterested in the political process, why tell us that an MP has died, you idiot!
