I've been watching the series on a season by season, year by year basis and I had recently bought series 4 in anticipation of watching it sometime later. What strikes me about the show was that it was broadcast so early in the evening considering its themes and heavier sci-fi than its stablemate Doctor Who. Would be post-watershed these days. Some cracking episodes along with some ropey ones but Avon and Servalan were boss...
