Gary Shandling dead at 66 http://variety.com/2016/tv/news/garry-shandling-dead-larry-sanders-show-show-1201738601/ I thought he was terribly unfunny. But then I might have caught only the bad stuff, like "What planet are you from"... I to hear his voice as the Turtle in "Over the hedge". ye that's the only good thing he did. The Larry Sanders Show was good, although that was mainly down to Rip Torn TBF and who'd have thought old Rip would outlast his co-star from that and from The Man Who Fell to Earth?

DDP Archive, available on homepage. The full list of teams aren't available from before 2003 for some reason. Sorry but maybe it's my browser -- when I clicked on Archives (long before posting the aforementioned post) it took me to an error message (see below). I assumed it was void of content. SC " The webpage cannot be found HTTP 404 Most likely causes:There might be a typing error in the address. If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date. What you can try: Retype the address. Go back to the previous page.Go back to the previous page. Go to the main site and look for the information you want. More information The link called "DDP Archive" hasn't worked for as long as I've been in the DDP. However, below it... DDP stats & facts DDP Archive Previous winners 2014David Quantick's Showbiz Pals 2013 David Quantick's Showbiz Pals 2012 The Living End 2011 The Living End 2010 Octopus of Odstock 2009 Tonight, Matthew, I'm Going To Be Badly-Torn Boy This bit. Well, the years are links to the DDP year in question. Where you can see the scoreboard, celebrities picked, who died, who picked who, those who died and didn't get obits (which is usually a list of the fucking obscure as hell), and the list of those who had been picked in previous years but not in the year of their death. Some of the early years had Inane Analysis and Insane Analysis, but those have been discontinued, probably as they'd take forever to do, and back in those days only about a dozen people and a dog took part, not 500 plus teams. The teams aren't available from 1996-2002 as I presume that was before the website existed. The "Archive" is effectively is an abandoned place to house previous years and other nick nacks, but the front page pretty much serves the purpose anyway so it's practically irrelevant and needs to be removed. The DDP website does somewhat resemble an overgrown garden, with weeds to be removed, plants to be shifted and new ones to be seeded in...

I would question, why, in the year 2016 the onus is on me to inform you that I'm visiting the website for a new session. No other website I appear seems to be incapable of detecting fresh connections, and I've certainly never had to manually refresh a website using F5 on a new visit before? Probably the Madasafish server more than anything else...

Latest update. Still a problem with "F" and I can't fathom why...

That he lives in Somerset or that he's a cunt?
-
I'm gonna say no. It probably makes him more likely to be named the next Work and Pensions Secretary instead. Ooh. Somebody had the inside track...
-
I went to check "F" to see who picked Rob Ford and all I got was a virtually blank page! Dunno what happened there, I'm sure it'll be alright for the next update...

Daniels was too busy being racist to nonce, imho It just said on the news that he "couldn't be sure that all the women he slept with were over 16" yes, he was an ultraconservative Thatcherite; the family values were all he cared for Yep, they were really concerned with decent family values...

No-one ever did, strangely enough, not even as a theme pick...

No it isn't because it's a local page within the BBC News website.

http://ultimateclassicrock.com/keith-emerson-dies/ C'est la vie. DAMN!! Another shocker in the music industry. I would have him on the same level as Bowie but certainly there with Frey and White. Funeral for the Common Man...

You've missed out...

His routine where he teaches a child how to tell the time is pure genius... -
Quote me the post where you put it up and where it was OK'd and I'll see what I can do. I must say the team name doesn't ring a bell but with the onslaught of teams in the those final days of last year, It wouldn't be a surprise if I did miss that one out as it is not the usual way things are done...
