Er...it's produced a 404!

It's looking more convincing I must admit. I'm going to do more digging for verification (date of death etc) and then add him in for the next update. It can only be contradicted from now on...

Interesting little titbit I initially came across on the back page of Athletics Weekly: Morrissey's first novel out this month is to be called List of the Lost...

I love the fact that you're still dreaming of winning the DDP...

Well, surely Jesus had to have spent time in prison between his arrest and crucifixion? If we add length of time served into the equation then surely it's Nelson Mandela. Mandela was only responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands, I'd still take Hitler in a game of w***er Top Trumps. Like Basset's Allsorts did he?

Fort William Football Club
themaninblack replied to Paul Bearer's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I reckon Fort William would have given San Marino a game today...and perhaps England too! -

Would it be a bit too sentimental to say my Dad?

PJ Kavanagah, who some may remember from 'Father Ted' as the Nazi-obsessed Father Fitzpatrick, has died aged 84...

Dead. Damn. Isn't it a shitter when an absolute cert falls before the start of the new year? Oh well, the man who mistook his life for an urn...
-
Well, at least I have a date of death now...

I'm not sure whether that Denise Marshall is even dead. I've looked on Google and there's no mention of her passing anywhere. Not even enough info to put her on the list of the lost...

Ooh, missed that one! Ah well there's always the next update...

Always a tricky one that, deciding which surname to put under. There's no hard and fast rule for it...

If it's the Yanks then World War Three is heading our way. But the Chinese have other weapons at their disposal...

Or it could be that China's no-particular-adherence-to-'ealth and safety-in-pursiuit-of-progress approach is coming home to roost...

FTSE to take another tumble I reckon...

..since he last won it I would have thought. 2012... EDIT: Looking through the blog postings, TLE did have the lead in March/April 2013.

I don't think Corbyn will be a unifying figure. He'll actually be the most avowedly left-wing leader Labour has elected. Foot was left (in comparison to say, Kinnock or Smith) but he was very much at the mainstream of the party at the time (he could have even been elected in 1976!). I've mentioned the parallels with IDS for the Tories: A membership favourite but not exactly popular with fellow MPs who represent a more mainstream position. The biggest impact could be in the Euro vote in 2017 should he last that long as he's a Eurosceptic and there hasn't been a Labour leader with that position since Foot. Then of course the Tories were more pro-European. Not so now. Prepare for Brexit...
