    The Beatles Death Curse

Did the Beatles have a death curse? untimely deaths to date include: Paul McCartney's mother - Mary; John Lennon's mother - Julia; former bandmate Stu Sutcliffe; manager Brian Epstein; roadie Mal Evans killed in shoot-out with LA cops; Ringo's wife - Maureen; Paul's wife - Linda; publicist Derek Taylor (altho dying at 65 may be counted as natural causes); former Beatles proteges Pete Ham and Rod Evans from Beatles produced group Badfinger both hanged themselves; and of course, John Lennon and George Harrison... there may be others I've missed... Also, the night Who drummer Keith Moon died, he had been to a party thrown by Paul McCartney.

    Edward Woodward

Which reminds me of a "joke" I heard a while back... How would one pronounce Edward Woodward if the "D's" were silent? Ehwahwoowoo. Kind of stupid, but blazingly funny after consuming copious amounts of alcohol in a pub. Or what do you call a man carrying 3 planks on his head....

    British Science Fiction Series

I think a much more interesting thread would be: Which Dr Who assistant did you used to wink off to the most? BTW, I believe Super-babe Juliet Harmer used to be married to William Squire who played Hunter in the TV series Callan. I dunno how he scored her considering he was about 30 years her senior.

    World War I Veteran(s)

It's quite tragic. They just don't glorify war with its death and destruction like they used to.

    The Beatles Death Curse

SIR PAUL MCCARTNEY's ex-wife HEATHER MILLS has re-ignited her feud with the British press - by insisting journalists who write "horrible things" about her will be struck down with cancer. http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/artic...er-jibe_1110372

    The Beatles Death Curse

Heinz Edelmann, the multifaceted graphic designer and illustrator who created the comically hallucinogenic landscape of Pepperland as art director for the 1968 animated Beatles film “Yellow Submarine,” died on Tuesday in Stuttgart, Germany. He became famous because of his work on ‘Yellow Submarine,’ ... But that celebrity actually obscured his real talent and imagination.

    The Beatles Death Curse

I was just wondering if maybe Allan Klein had a bigger contribution to music than Michael Jackson? Well they both had links with Paul McCartney and Jackson owned the back Beatles catalog. Ironic considering that it was McCartney who was the one who supposedly died sometime in the '60s.

There's this myth that Syd was a massive victim of acid. Not true. Roger Keith Barratt is a schizophrenic. That is the root of his problems - although the acid probably greatly exacerbated his condition.
  14. Not Keef. He's too well preserved. How's Mick Taylor doing?

    The Beatles Death Curse

Hardly. Compare them to their nearest rivals the Rolling Stones, who if I am correct only suffered one solitary untimely death: Brian Jones...

That is most gratifying to hear. I believe that Bob Grant once tried to commit suicide. All things come to he who waits...
