Who gives a F**k if it's a global game. If you had a poll among the world, American sports would dominate. There is absolutely no doubt about it.
-
Baseball is everywhere, but the UK. Pretty much.

Tempus, I just told you don't take any offense. I enjoy talking about baseball and so does a few others, I get good humor out of some members, there silence since they haven't got a clue what were talking about.
-
No offense, but shut the F**k up. Please.

Joe Torre might be on his way out. George doesn't seem very happy.

I believe the base of Holden Caulfield's problems were that his older brother died of leukemia, it was what led to his near emotional breakdown. If that happens to a person, especially a young person it could effect there mental state beyond knowing. It affected him socially, to the point where he could not understand reality, and it made him a hypocrite, but only to the eyes of others. I think many people can relate to his feelings, in the book I remember some part where he didn't get along with his roomate, but would actually hang out with him because there was nobody else to hang out with. He was so caught up in his head he wasn't even aware of what was going on around him. I believe that when a persons hope never becomes what they dream, they lose touch with everything. The genius that JD Salinger brought was he he gave us a concept of reality, and just as we all live anger and sadness and happiness, we may have lived this, and he put it into pages.

Words. They speak softer than actions. Actions are loud and outrageous, words are in tune and direct.

'Contract of lies' He laughed out loud pointing his finger at the doomed souls With cracks in the ground and fire bursting through black holes The joker danced with style and satanic cheer The broken regretful men could just stand in deep fear A small hooded figure had stepped out of the dark With his dim lit lantern he whispered a remark And his dog who only appeared to be a shadow viciously began to bark As some of the men dropped to their knees and prayed to be protected A judge with a tall black top hat covering his very eyes Banged his gravel on the podium declaring they were rejected Talkative conversations in several languages echo But a word you could not understand The voices became louder and began to grow By the motion of the black conductors hand Images of the past Filled this hell with color and life There these men could see themselves In times of violence and strife A white door had appeared in broad vision Opening wide with a business man walking through Gray haired and calmly he spoke 'Gentleman I have a deal for you' He promised pleasure and he promised love In the great country of the beast Asked upon those who wished to join him For a grand old feast One man had walked forward And took this offer very wise The business man said 'follow me' With darkness in his eyes He presented a contract That would forgive all his sins The business man said 'Sign on the dotted line' As he wickedly grinned And there stood the Joker Dancing to the melody of pan Pointing his finger at this man Laughing harder then anybody can

'A Strange Dream' If you ever knew what she was like I could guarentee you never met one before God wasn't paying attention when he locked her out And closed his gated door She banged and pleaded and then she cried But never did he hear a word All things happen for a reason And this was a reason he preferred With not a choice but to be born Into the world with a heritage and a name When I looked in her eyes there I saw something And that I just can't proclaim It was just the way she moved Her walk seemed to be a slow dance Zoning and hypnotizing me Under the influence of her beauty's trance She brought heat like a heavenly fire We slowly spoke that and this I came close as did we both But she pulled away from my kiss I wanted her beyond explain Though a voice inside me knew I could hear the most silent whisper 'She isn't meant to be with you' I could see her body began to glow As I held her hand in mine She spoke so softly and spoke so close My heart began to refine It must have been all a dream As I awoke stickily in my bed It seemed so lively and so real I rose and washed the sheets instead.

It's official. The Detroit Tigers are going to the championship series. Now... The LA Dodgers get swept.

I agree that he is mentally disturbed. The book 'Catcher In The Rye' just might explain his feelings to a reasonable extent. I don't believe the goverment had any involvement in Lennon's death, why Chapman did this I don't know. I think at one point he may have thought he was actually John Lennon. It is a mystery that remains unsolved, as this book seems to reach out to those who are disturbed. I believe that if Lennon would have survived in time he would have forgivin him. For all we know the next day Chapman could have regretted his actions. I wasn't serious Holy Diver, your not an idiot. Just a person who wants to see success more then everybody else. In all fairness, around the Deathlist forums that isn't a crime.

Well the Los Angeles Dodgers are only one game away from being eliminated. Talking NL the Mets are going to the championship series. But can anyone believe the Yankees! Joe Torre doesn't deserve this. George must have some headache. Personally I would like to see a Subway Series this year, but if A - Rod don't start doing what his quarter billion dollar f****n contract is, and if Randy can't beat a young team like this, it won't happen. [unaware that a certain moderator is a die-hard Dodgers fan, Banshee's Scream totally stepped in it. - TH]

I wonder what Clive Dunn's number is?

Hey Anubis, go on thinking like this and you will never win. You want knowledge, make the phone calls, go to autograph signings, knock on doors. You can be the servant of Deathlist. The only reason why that doesn't work is because you live in Egypt. If you even live there.

You can't talk Baseball on these forums. It's like talking to the wall. The UK really needs to become apart of American sports. Canada has done it, Japan probably will, there sport is just so boring. It's all football. And something called cricket. I don't even know what that is. That might be the game of the week at the nursing homes.

Crooked like a branch, arthritis of this must be killing some people. Dead Pools can't always be a walk in the park.

Chapman will die in prison. I don't care how many times he has to read Catcher In The Rye. I disagree with your 'Let him finish the job' I mean Paul could use a beating but not death yet. And I can't see Ringo going anywhere. Your an idiot Holy Diver.

Vomiting up six demons. I think he really is insane. He should have been F*****g executed, but there are ways he can suffer and we can laugh. I hope JD Salinger publishes a new version of 'Catcher In The Rye' if I were his lawyer, I would purchase 500 copies and tell him to read every inch of every page. I'd say there is a reward after you read the 144,000 pages. He would do it if I said Jesus will make you a cheif of heaven. little does he know, that he'll burn in hell.

'I Pity The Fool' Mr.T's advice show as it appears. I saw him on Tv just the other day and I can't understand one word out of his mouth. Blah Blah Blah. He talks really fast. It seems like Hogan knows best is successful, I wouldn't be suprised if Mr.T topped the ratings for a few weeks.

If members of the public have credit cards, nothing is confidential. It's just that the information is not there, although every persons history has to be somewhere.

These days I regret not taking French when I had the chance. I was expelled from all foreign language classes. Who cares about writing it Harry, if your good at speaking french, take a trip to Paris and go to some club. Talk like a romantic and get laid.

'The Fake' You often take notice While I'm around Looking over your shoulder And then staring back to the ground And I see you with others Some that you call friends But what they don't know Is that she pretends So image obsessed Believes to be a queen As she sits on a plastic thrown And gets high off caffeine And what a junkie for attention Lately her attitude is out of style She has got a thousand personalities in one body And she is living in denial Weren't you broken down and crying? In regret of when You lived for the moment And wasn't that a prioritie then? You beg for me to help And guide you in the right direction But how can I do that? If you don't show me any affection Conversations turn to arguments Stories have become lies Mistakes are lessons That make us wise Although the truth to you Is like a slow death Has something caught your tongue You seem short of breath? Do you know the word respect? And that could you even define Tell me when you realize Tell me when you draw the line It's time you set standards for yourself After all the pride and confidence you claimed to have lost Your kindness is in debt And will you ever be able to pay back the cost? From now on when I see you I'll just walk and look away Until you drag yourself to me In the heart of desperation one day You will say 'How are you' I will say 'I'm doing just the same' And just like you did to me I will say 'By the way what is your name?'

Who cares what they say. Don't let it get to you.

Grab today by the throat, I hope today don't choke to death for your sake. In so many words, you could be sued and sentenced into everday prison without bars. You can strangle today as if there were no tommorow, I think that I will wait.

I'm not drunk Tempus Fugit, it really happened. But I can't decline your reasonable invitation to be intoxicated. Tommorow will be one good time.
