Was his films spoken in english? The remakes of "King Kong" seemed to be his main time in the sun. His grand daughter is also a chef of the everyday italian food network. I find her very attractive.

I'm heartbroken i'm not included in the hit list , your'e an utter t**t roo, i feel hurt youv'e no consideration for anyones feelings. this is no way to start the new year!. The first time i've never been included! This ranter seemed very un - professional about his lists. -
We have a Fim Director here which we haven't had any present since I would say back in the days of the 2003 list. Hopefully he and Dino de Laurentis can direct what Elia Kazan directed back in the 2003 year of DL.

Politician of some sort and according to his Wikipedia biography on Thatchers 80th birthday celebration he attended but not on foot it was in a wheel chair since as they describe "His extreme old age" confined him too one. Looks promising. And I think I can get use - to seeing Margaret Thatcher's name hanging on spot 36...

He now must be playing and singing the blues.

Don't know much about him besides he's an author and that his book "Catcher In The Rye" was compulsively read by Mark Chapman John Lennon's killer. They say the moment after he shot Lennon dead on that warm December night he went right back to the part in the book where he left off.

And what is this? Didn't I start the original Charles Lane thread? So far I haven't earned a cents worth of credit for what I started..

Muhammad Ali to me is a Richard Pryor type pick since age wouldn't qualify him as a DL canidate. With the addition of Pryor in the 2005 list it he did pay off with him being the 12th and final graduate of the year. Ali may have some days left within him I say but the DL may never know when luck comes blowin there way.
-
To say the very least i'm disappointed and more bitter then ever that John Kenneth Galbraith was not included on this years list. I think the DL is trying to have less friction - Since he is one of my main picks and because they know he will pop off and I will take complete responsibility regarding that his death I predicted. What a drag this is on my part.
-
The heights of this years list are crowded with cenetarians and out of 4 it's practically certain that 50% of that will be successful.
-
It then seems the number 2 spot has been badly cheated. I'm afraid the DL may not get the proper complications that there looking for. Perhaps they should have went with John Kenneth Galbraith.

Congratulations Tempus Fugit you spend so much time living and loving the DL a man couldn't give that to his wife in 50 years of marriage. Congratulations... -
Don't look like any of the 2006 names threads have been created for the 2006 list. I'm sure they will appear in time. It's been corrected now, Suharto's name now links to this thread. Amazing the level of maintenance work that goes into DL.net at the strangest times of day Usually at this time of night there isn't anyboby roaming the DL besides myself. It's only 10.30 here in New York when I believe in the UK it is 5 hours ahead. To me it's still 2005.

Did reverend Billy Graham make the list by any chance?
-
I recall a similar act on last years list having a couple spots empty for a few days. I thought perhaps Artie Shaw was to blame since he died out of the blue but I suppose i'm wrong? I hope the list fills out soon and that I can see all the contenders. I figure folks such as Lou Rawls, Harold Pinter, and JKG should all be top notch canidates.
-
Yes spaces are everywhere but so far the list looks as I thought it would.. Although as it appears now he's leaving out a hand - full of names.
-
It should - or perhaps Grim Reaper will arrive late? Since Artie Shaw is no longer around to die hopefully everything will go as planned so we all get a glimpse at the yearly list.

Do you smoke a pipe by any chance Notapotato? I don't know if he puffs his old pipe but I hear he plays some sort of elfin instrument?
-
Well Notapotato......... I almost didn't join your Deadly Derby due to my computer's failure to cooperate but in the end it has a pulled through. I look foward to being your winner or close to it.

A quiet night where all shall pull through.

Treasonable Politicians
Banshees Scream replied to Charley Farley's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Flashback - I remember reading a book about a boy who wanted to practice chemically involved experiments in his cellar but his father would not allow him to carry on with this hobbie because he felt it was very unhealthy. Him and his son made a deal that if he went outside and jogged here and there each day he would then be allowed to practice these experiments. Perhaps you read this novel Hein and you are having twisted flashbacks thinking you yourself as a young man tried to be a mad scientist? -
Apologies For Interruption To Service...

It leaves alot of qustions.. If there was going to be a new Admin then would that mean Stayin Alive will loose his spot as a Administrator? He may plan to return? As far as i'm aware he was present for my 1000th post on November 9 which the year before had the most guests in DL history. He didn't post he just looked through my celebration thread and soon quickly vanished once again. Why he no longer roams this websight is unknown. If you were to ask the Admins they would most likely tell you a Mr.Stats type story in how the time is hard to find. Though even MS posts more then Stayin Alive.. In my opinion I don't really think Grim and DWB need another Admin at this point in time. There's nothing going that they can't manage. -
Don't know about that - I've been hearin he is going to have another performance in 2006 so he must still be trying to keep his vocal cords alive. And himself for that matter.

Tempus, I see you have unravelled the mystery of Banshees posting style (the one where he only types across the left side of the page). Unless your posting from his computer, which I doubt. I suppose you could call my style a mystery.. I also doubt Tempus Fugit is using my computer.
