Come on ... it really has nothing to do with the Mods. In my view the web sight should be updated about a week or so after the candidates unselfishness. I mean depending on the situation and considering their level of importance is how quickly the death will be updated and recognized. You know if it was 'Fidel Castro' who dropped dead you would see a ten-twelve line paragraph up the next day. Now once before I've offered 'if possible' the chance to write up the obituaries for the front page. It's very possible I'll have a couple of grammatical casualties 'which would be edited' but it's something that I could indulge my interest in operating. Overall I guess GR .. still enjoys writing them up after all these years so ...... my offer is always on the table.

Keith Richards....will He Make It To 2012?
Banshees Scream replied to discustard's topic in DeathList Forum
.... Ah Keith Richards. Take care of yourself Keith, for you are one of the few may you not yet join the many. -
I believe Steve Fossett provided food for the coyotes ... they didn't starve. They had a meal. Then again Steve ... could have become ... a hermit. He might have been mentally anti - sufficient. All of a sudden ruling down the decision that he wanted to grow a beard and live in the wilderness and start fires and make mating calls. ....................................................................... but you know .............. this guy typing here can't help but accept the fact that he was meat for all those ....................... hungry coyotes. Woooof. Sorry Steve, at least you provided a purpose for other species on this earth. ................................................................................ ................................................................................ You hear that people ............................... Steve Fossett WAS MEAT FOR THE COYOTES,. ..... HELL YEAH/ MEAT. He provided hit the spot satisfaction for the dogs of the wilderness. MEAT. His purpose is clear as is crystals to me. So clear. If coyotes had a super market Steve Fossett would be sold in stores.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2007
Banshees Scream replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Father gullible, son practical. Father unlike son. Godot have you been fishing recently by the way? I'm not talking about low expense women who demand money. I mean have you been fishing. I want you to go fishing, Godot needs to relax. I want you to live a full life. -
The feedback here is very balanced so far and I can't blame you for questioning the reliability of sources that have made these claims but the media is the media 'The National Enquirer' and I'm inclined to think Sydney Pollack makes a much better candidate then Roddy Roddy Piper 'if you get my tone' so I think he is definitely essential material.

Well I can tell you right now Dr. Death won't be on any of my lists and if their is ever an example of a exaggerated situation it's the Hepatitis C of Jack Kevorekian. I f****n blame governor!

It's called 'I didn't read the thread' but it's an easy mistake to make if you only read page six.

Ddp 2008 Rule Changes
Banshees Scream replied to Octopus of Odstock's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Godot says it exactly right and I want to take this minute to thank Triple O for his liberal approach to the future rules of the DDP and his recent efforts to make the game more civil and competitive. It was back in October when I confirmed 'My Problem' with DDP and don't get me wrong 'I'm not trying to insult anybody' ..... (but talking leniency) Siegfried Baboon and Rude Kid resigned just in time. I mean I would have never expected the vast majority of members to be so generous towards the real fact of the matter and everybody has shocked me with their voting-contribution to the essential rules that should have existed since day one. Now the wall paper might still have the same scene but DDP has been revolutionized, with the age limit now eighteen and executions banned and the bar has been raised for unique selections making them worth three points a piece. I'm looking forward to DDP 2008 and I plan to own the standings by all means. I now say thank you to everybody, good luck, and let the raffles of the dead roll! -
The Deathlist Christmas Special!
Banshees Scream replied to Lady Die's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
The Christmas season 'Or Holiday Season) is officially now underway 'outside' of the super markets... and I'm just getting started thinking up gift ideas for people and I might be just narrowing it down to books and DVD's because I mean 'what can you buy people these days?' I have a cousin who is in college so I'm thinking about getting him a 'median priced' miniature refrigerator to keep all the drinks cold. Anyway I think we have one more surprise left waiting right around the corner and lets just hope everybody can raise their eye brows and move like their somebody and most of all enjoy the season! -
Aziz Abdul al-Hakim 'Or is it Abdel??' has been removed from my list and having a Steinbrenner approach I'm standing by the most effective approach which is - of course - cancer. Now I'm f****n not in providence knowing Christodoulos is all of a sudden failing a month before it matters. This means I have to locate a compatible replacement 'again' and ... I was just looking forward to having Christodoulos ... look that way because from my view it's just one of those names that were meant to have a line drawn through it.

If you think I want to know something, you think I'm going to go by 'The Sun?' .. you think they know? Do you really think so? I don't. I've heard sources say Brunner might be dead since 1996 ... I say bullshit. If anything he croaked two or three years ago... and his death will continue to go on unrecognized. If he did I doubt they would come out with his demise ... they wouldn't say nothing. It's just another Nazi... and the whole Holocaust is over with now. It's over and done. If the guy is alive he's 95 years old. He got away with it. If they found him you would hear he don't know his f****n name anymore because he is in the advanced stages of dementia. It would be another Pinochet sob story. Case closed.

I'm going to start getting vocal on some of my 'ideas' especially the ones I will not be using. First we have Shelly Morrison an actress who has been in several films and sitcoms. Her lung cancer went into remission a few years ago but her breast cancer has returned. Former NFL running back Ron Springs has has been hospitalized in a coma which doctors say 'he will never come out of' Dick Gregory an influential African American comic who has been entertaining audiences since the mid 1950's really keeps his leukemia on the down - low. It's said to be in remission but hey - you never know. Law Kar Ying a Hong Kong comedian has terminal cancer. His fame around here might be the only issue. ABC news anchor Robin Roberts has breast cancer. Healthy now but still faces future treatment... And that's it for now.

Patriarch Pavle isn't going anywhere off my list even as I have been making constant transitions every couple of days. Not even mentioning cancer... Karl Frenzel is another valuable gamble and while I'm at it so is former senator Jesse Helms (Who are a little out of topic in this thread) and not all on my list ... But Mother Angelica isn't off topic. One who isn't on my list either but very frail for several years now and definitely a possibility - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mother_Angelica

African Leaders - Despots and Democratic
Banshees Scream replied to Cowboy Ronnie's topic in DeathList Forum
Devon Death Trip... if anything you deserve some kind of award from the so called 'panel' and you are very informative a majority of the time but you are also very misleading. No doubt I've claimed a few major names from you that will not disappoint me next year but relying on your claims I just hope it's not 'we didn't get a BBC obituary' because that would seriously piss me off. I really hope you have a realistic perspective as far as future obituaries go.. -
And that is the ideal image Hartlepool never fails to offer. It's December 1st 2007 and the spirit of dead pooling becomes very alive ... in fact various rule changes have gone down and after putting a great deal of my focus on excluding executions from DDP I can only assume the idea will emerge itself right here at Notapotato's very own. Now I'm thinking Hartlepool should introduce a modern feature that is included with ones list and a feature that would double the value of a selected candidate. Well if you haven't caught on I'm talking about making only 'The #10) position a joker chair. For example - Meinhardt Rabbe sits in mine - If he were to ... drop dead I would acquire fifty points to my name. What is your two cents on at least the big picture here Nap?

Talk Like A Scotsman/St Andrews Day/Burns nicht
Banshees Scream replied to scsibear's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I hope not. I wouldn't want Notapotato to feel left out. We wouldn't want that to happen, would we now? (By the way, If my outrageous approach to the very unclear Scottish speaking characters seemed overly exaggerated just realize as being from New York myself listening to some of those Scottish voices is 'in so many words' a strong three star comedy. -
Talk Like A Scotsman/St Andrews Day/Burns nicht

I think the bald guy says something about infested seagulls .. The guy with the hat in the line where he extends his words sounds like an Arab illegally selling tickets at a sub wayseries game ... I swear. ........ ahhhh hahahaah ahhhh ...... Then the lady with the Hendrix hair cut I can understand at some limitation. Something about falling and breaking her neck I made out .. but what is the deal with this Alien business. Is the IQ in that area proved higher? Is it very prestigious in the alien neighbor hoods? The tax is included with the pictured sale prices? -
So Kanye making up with him was a last minute death-bed stunt. I really have to keep one eye open for situations like these. At first I actually said to myself 'how ironic' ... but now I realize how it was not ironic at all. He wasn't on my list anyway.

It depends on how you would be using the word 'collapse' and of course it is a fact that if you are not educated on the history of the past you cannot usually contradict many probable events of the future. History is said to repeat itself and a majority of the time it never fails. I could have example after example backing that up but we must realize that 'just like anything else' that is not always the case. Germany was at rock bottom after WW2 and now it has rejuvenated itself through periods of time to be pretty much a 'stronger nation' then it was before. A way to look at it is 'Failure is the greatest victory' at some extent, that line right there might have a different meaning to all different kinds of people. We learn lessons through faults and the US isn't at the ideal height one would imagine 'in so many words' but if the right moves are made in the future the faults that have been made can be restored with thinking up the right solutions. I don't know if a great wall of anti-immigration will ever be built, it's possible that in a decade or so street crossing signs will start appearing in Spanish. Overall 'based on opinion' no matter if the US 'is falling' 'has fallen' 'or will fall' ... I'm very confident saying it will always get back up. What comes up must come down and up again it goes.

Illegal immigration is a serious problem that 'Rudy Giuliani' 'who I feel' 'If he is elected president' is definitely capable of dealing with. After watching both debates the agreement of 'get out of Iraq as soon as possible' seems to be popular but the argument is 'when is that?' I don't think I've even heard 'when' once. Hillary is making a lot of promises but put Bill on the couch for a minute and 'what has she really done?' ... what has she really done? Guliani is much more experienced then she is all together. If Hillary wins it's going to be 'The Clintons' and I'm not saying it would be a nightmare but I see much more controversy in her being elected then I do Giuliani. And I think Bush needs to weigh his options a little bit more rather then boom badda bing. Bush said if Iraq has 'the knowledge' it might go nuclear and that's a far out statement if you were to ask me. I think enough people have died and everybody needs to back down from all this. I think Bin Laden is going to become more and more surreal 'possibly soon' start claiming Farrakhan sort of visions you know 'I talk to Allah Allah' and all that bullshit. 'Allah said this' 'Allah claimed that' Well Allah said invest into Geico' .. I think he is going to become more and more religious based in his future videos

Anything Jazz or Blues especially usually don't waste all your time. Keep these in mind Oscar Peterson - A Canadian Jazz pianist and composer Hank Jones - Pianist\band leader\composer Eugene Wright (The Senator) Coleridge Goode - Jamaican-born jazz bassist Sonny Rollins - New York born saxophonist

Anybody who seriously thinks Steve Fossett is still alive didn't take their medication this morning (I'm sorry I can't help it) .. if you think Steve Fosset is still alive it's denial OD. It's really not healthy to think he is alive, it's almost selfish to believe that. Steve Fossett is definitely dead. His private plane went down in a retired area that seems to be keeping itself very private from all the search teams for the passed several months ... so privacy seems to be the main problem throughout this whole ordeal. I'm happy he finally got an obituary out in the open. It's about time.

(I look the other way) You know I hate to break it to you Doubting Thomas ... But somehow I really don't think so.

28 Years Of The Deathlist!

So your apologizing because you feel that you are being rude? I think you have nerve to be apologetic after speaking your mind in a rational sense. You tell me that you struggle with the structure, doors ways lead to walls and stairway lead up to an altitude of nowhere. Well Godot your basically trying to figure out the facts, all the facts that you just can't figure out. It frustrates you that you can't figure it out, so you draw conclusions through frustration and the very answer to all your questions is that I'm insane. Everybody is insane Godot, the more I grow older then more I realize how insane the principals of humanity are. I try to ignore it, but I can't get it out of mind. Godot is insane, he is insane for taking grammar over meaning. Isn't it about reference? Isn't it about perspective? Isn't it about meaning? Godot has grammar anxiety, he focuses on the words more then the meanings themselves. If all this I've just told you doesn't make sense, then realize that instead of finding out what is, your purpose in life was to go to college and be an editor. And this post I just made should possibly be considered for post of the year. I'm nominating it.
