Does Harry really rhyme with Mary in American ? Strangely in English it don't. Hmmm .... Typhoid Carey ... too girly again. Typhoid Hairy ... too yetiish Typhoid Wary ... too cautious Typhoid Scary ... Typhoid Airy ... not enough substance Typhoid Contrary ... make up your mind ! Typhoid Fairy ... interesting ... fancy that one ? (does the double meaning of fairy occur in American ?)

Not sure if there's a better place to put this, but from imdb.com ... "Hollywood star Alec Baldwin has rubbished Dessarae Bradford's account of their alleged romp - which she detailed in her book My S/M Romp With Alec Baldwin. The author - a former phone sex worker - devotes 57 pages analyzing her alleged one-night sex fest with The Cooler actor - which involved an egg- shaped vibrator, a Hershey chocolate bar and a bottle of baby oil." 57 pages !!! That was some romp for one night.

I'm not sure if DWB's initial post referred to this or not (if it did, they've changed the story), but anorexia it may not be ... Powdering Her Nose

You may have to eat your words Mr. GR ... Ol' Paddy didn't present tonight's The Sky At Night. That is something like only the second time in, what, 30 years ? The omens aren't good, and Marlon might not be your biggest miss ... Now if only they could find new presenters to take his place who don't seem to have had a charisma bypass. God, they're awful ... remind me of some of post grads at uni. [The exception being tonight's Prof. Zarnecki, who was one of my lecturers at uni !]

Actually I thought he was already dead, but apparently not ... Anyway, From imdb.com - "After more than 40 years in pictures, Jack Palance finally won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for City Slickers (1991), playing a tough, wheezy, old cowboy with rapidly hardening arteries. As he accepted his award, he felt compelled to demonstrate that his physical condition in the film had nothing to do with the actual state of his health, and he demonstrated his physical prowess by doing a set of one-arm push-ups." I think that means he's still going

With Weatherman now Weatherbanned, I thought it was worth reopening this. Its a pity he veared between good ideas and being a prat.

I have to say, I did look to see if the Associated Press really did quote GR ...

I think getting mightily pissed off with Michael Moore for nicking his book title is keeping him a-ticking for the moment.
-
Though I've never heard of him (and I have a physics degree !), he does seem a possibility.

We could all watch Big Brother instead ...

Never heard of him myself, but still, we gotta balance the Euro bias somehow

He was a tough bastard to kill though ... "Rasputin was led to the cellar and fed poisoned cakes and wine, but these did not affect him. Yusupovsky then shot the monk at point blank range and Rasputin collapsed on the floor. When Yusupov went to tell his fellow conspirators the good news, they sent him back to make sure he had done the job. On returning to inspect the body, Grigory Rasputin suddenly regained consciousness and started to throttle poor Yusupov, who needless to say was completely scared out of his wits. The Prince fled the cellar, screaming for help; when they returned Rasputin was gone. They found him in the yard crawling towards the gate and proceeded to shoot and bludgeon him. They then bound him and tossed him into the river. When Rasputin's body was found, his bonds were broken and his lungs were filled with water, showing that he didn't actually die until he was submerged in the frozen waters."

I think you'll have to check out his TV credits to get the Sorry bit
