Denied for another 2 years.................make him morbid????? He killed a sacred cow; I doubt he'll ever be released. If he'd shot Ringo he'd have been let out in 1985 to a healthy smattering of applause. After his performance at The Olympic opening ceremony I wish Chapman had done Paul McCartney It took you that long to wish that particular role reversal? If Wings* didn't do it for you, The Frog chorus should definitely have done it. *Wings...The Band the Beatles could have been.

I had Mr Nicklinson as a shoe in for 2013. The look of anger on his wifes face after the court ruling the other week gave it away. I knew he wasn't going to last much longer no matter what. If there was any foul play then frankly i am disgusted how they couldn't have had one last New Years Eve together.

I think you and I have slipped up with Xolile DDT. Defense lawyer health exaggerations are notorious. Wouldn't surprise me if he just rots in a South African Jail for years to come. If he dies once the trial is done and dusted, I'm not sure he would get an obit anyway. Anyhow, even though Gregory Powell is another hit for me i couldn't hold back the tears. Must be the Onions. While we are in this thread. Stuart Hazel (the guy who ALLEGEDLY killed Tia Sharp) maybe one to watch. He does seem the sort of idiot who would refuse the protective custody option and take his chances in gen pop. The Gen pop option would almost certainly end up with one result.

Ahhhh, It's nice to have my Team name back all to myself this year. Maybe my little tantrum last year did the trick....maybe not. Great work MIB and also well done to the guys who assisted you through the technical difficulties.

Ironically succumbed to pancreatic cancer, the same thing that killed his "Road House" co-star Swayze. How ironic. It's like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife. That's not ironic, that's just a pain in the ass. Yep The ironic thing is that all the supposedly ironic things in Alanis Morrisettess song were in fact......not ironic

Turns out I was wrong, my friend took him out as the last second because he worried about obituary chances. Replaced him with Gregory Powell. I've got both Xolile Mngeni and Gregory Powell. Infinatley more worried about Powells obit than Xolile. The Anni Dewani murder has been heavily publicized in the British Media. I am almost certain Mngeni will get an obit should he pass. To be honest I thought Gregory Powell may have been a unique for me. gutted. No way is he unique. A couple people have posted in this thread saying they have him, and I have him on my theme team. Yes ive establshed he isn't unique i said i thought he may have been unique.

Yeah figured it was. (stupid question really). Bit of a slow start this year i reckon. Ah...Gone are the days of picks like Claiborne Pell croaking on New Years day. The only time i ever led the DDP.
-
A few hours earlier and 10 points off Ablett would have lifted me to 7th place in the DDP 2011 comp. I didn't even research his health for 2012 and omitted him from my picks. Gutted.

Ideas And Possibilities For 2012
Going Underground replied to The Unknown Man's topic in DeathList Forum
I noticed someone posted regarding their concerns for Peter Kay even though there has been no public reports regarding his health etc. I too have my concerns over someone famous and have to get it off my chest here (and also to say i told you so if it happens). Mark Feehily from the band Westlife always gives me serious call for concern when i watch him perform on TV. His eyes and mannerisms make him look in a total daze and he doesn't seem to know where he is and what he is doing half the time. He seems like he is in some kind of comatosed state. My missus tells me to stop being stupid when i mention Feehily and accuses me of being obsessed with Dead pools but this isn't really about picking someone for the deathlist, deadpool etc. He really does worry me when I see him. I am indifferent about Westlife and their music and the people in the band seem ok lads to me so wish him or them no harm. Maybe this is just the way Mark naturally is but i do fear for him. -
After several years in the game i think i may change my team name next year to Wormer, He's A Dead Man! Niedermier Dead! Marmalard Dead! (GU) I should be fine with this as obviousley when changing team names I wouldnt be so fckin stupid as to pick a team name that already exists and has done for years. I know itrs only a game and the organizers do a fantastic job but duplicate team names should be pointed out and they should be told to pick another. Of all the teams names in the world he could have changed to - the clown picks mine.
-
What am i doing wrong MIB? I am still seeing the 2010 teams. edit: must be a firefox thing because i can see them fine on IE. Nice work MIB.
-
I hope they were told to sod off and pick another name?
-
How do you mean MIB? Someone has got nearly the same picks as me? Surely all 20 cant be duplicated in one team. The odds on that !!!! Thought my mates could be winding me up but i didnt reveal my picks to them until after the deadline.

Happy New Year All. As I enter my 6th year of DDP I continue to dream of a top 20 finish but fear I just aint got what it takes but enjoy it anyway so what the hell. Unlike the man DDT, I am sticking with Hakimullah Mehsud in the hope that the slippery bastard will be Droned out of his hiding place this year. Oh the embarrasment of all the gloating we did last Janurary when we thought he had been blown to pieces. Also included in my 20 is the despicable Sidney Cooke as this years REALLY hope they die pick (apparantley suffered a double stroke coupled with the fact that 99% of Wakefield nick want him dead gived me claims). Also plumped (more than likely stupidly) for Fidel Castros sister rather than the man himself. Reckon there could be a few unique picks in this lot. Vasily Aleksanyan (JOKER) Sidney Cooke Dick Cheney Sir John Tavener Danny Baker Marisol Valles Garcia Sir Freddie Viggers Kim Jong-il Aretha Franklin Bob Dole Paul Madeley Geoffrey Hughes Juanita Castro Ruz Andy Whitfield Severiano Ballesteros Gary Ablett Hakimullah Mehsud Brian Lenihan Val Armstrong Tariq Aziz
