Predicting the death of the Australian Labour party Davey??? Personally I became disenfranchised with them when KRudd was deposed as PM, the entire thing has remained stagnate since then (the only + is the ongoing royal commission into child sexual abuse in state and religious institutions, which should have happened decades ago anyway) However the recent event of ordering the navy to call off the search for an asylum seeker vessel that sank a few days ago off Christmas island, Then not to recover the bodies they did find, just made me angry - not that I'm an angry person mind. This just seems to be a total disregard for human dignity in this situation. anyway that's my soapbox moment...back to posting funny "share a coke with..." names

I think frailty is the least of his problems at the moment. With friends like these. http://news.ninemsn.com.au/world/2013/06/09/06/37/mandela-in-hospital-with-lung-infection

Except no one knows who he the hell he is. Dead. Former Australian of the Year and lead vocalist of the most famous Aboriginal rock band so it will be interesting to see if he does get that UK obit since you Brits have never heard of him. I hope they do something to honour his memory...that would be nice.

Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. `'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door... It was my large double meatasaurus with extra cheese and BBQ sauce.

Bloody strange when I heard the news...it was announced during tonight's episode of Q&A which featured a panel of assorted feminists, who had been talking about women in positions of power and Thatcher's name had only just been mentioned... From one Snatcher to another Snatcher - Goodbye Mrs. Thatcher.

It appears he can't get rid of the fluid on his lungs - might be enough to finish him off. http://worldnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/04/02/17570287-nelson-mandela-still-suffering-from-fluid-buildup-in-lungs-south-africa-denies-report

Thanks for that BS44 We are currently experiencing the coldest March for 50 years! The tag line does say "It's always the weather for it" though... I always imagined it was typically British to be chillin' (pun intended) down the pub when shit like this goes down. Partly because it is what I'd do - but then again I'm not British, mostly because of that "stiff upper lip" stuff that you guys seem to buy into a lot. to you guys though - hope everyone is safe and warm.

Or...now just go with me on this...you could extend that list to 23 people verified to have been born in the 19th century (January 1, 1801 – December 31, 1900) Or...wait for it...24 people to have been born during the Victorian era.

Kicking back, enjoying peace with a long neck of my favourite beer...and a roach - not a care in the world, its a good life (wish I was at the beach though...) if you can get it, I recommend it.

I dream of a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
