Tony Mockus (Anthony Mockus Sr), who appeared in The Untouchables, Caddyshack II and Backdraft, as well as several US TV programmes has died aged 92 (1st April according to IMDb). A Chicago native, his last appearance was appropriately in a 2013 episode of Chicago Fire, which coincidentally I watched last night.

Appears to have been unreported here, but it was announced recently that Chris Ellison (The Bill's DI/DCI Burnside) has developed aphasia (cf Bruce Willis) following a stroke in 2020. There's video in the link from an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

Composer Monty Norman is 94 today; he's the original composer of the James Bond theme (though John Barry's arrangement is that which we all know, and Barry claimed authorship of the tune, Its now accepted, backed up by litigation, that Norman is the composer). -
TV medium Billy Roberts dead. Appeared on a couple of episodes of Most Haunted back in 2009.He was 75.

William Gaunt is 85 today; a veteran of stage and screen, his first major role was in Victorian police drama Sergeant Cork, but he's best remembered for his starring role in ITC's The Champions, as Richard Barret, alongside Alexandra Bastedo & Stuart Damon. He appeared in the Colin Baker Doctor Who story Revelation of the Daleks as the assassin Orcini and later starred in sitcoms No Place Like Home & Next of Kin. -

Its twelve yeras since actor John Forsythe died aged 92. As well as his portrayal of Blake Carrington in Dynasty, opposite Joan Collins, he's best remembered as the eponymous Charlie from Charlie's Angels; never seen, his voice was heard at the opening of every episode.
