Mixed reviews, but seemingly more bad than good. It is (according to one respected critic) about 3-4 years too late to be relevant. Pity, because with that cast, writer and production company, it has everything it needs to be good. -

It's five years since the death of architect Jim Roberts, at the age of 97. Born in Birmingham, he was awarded three contracts to aid in the redvelopment of the city in the late 1950s, which included the (potentially soon to be demolished) Ringway Centre, and the landmark circular building The Rotunda. Other notable buildings include the Radio City building (St. John's Beacon) in Liverpool. and the Belfry Hotel and Golf Centre (Home of the Ryder Cup). James A. Writer Juliet Ace is 85 today. In addition to numerous radio plays, shes written for TV, including EastEnders and El Dorado, and stage, as well as books, including a memoir of actor Ternec rigby. She was diagnosed with terminal cancer in October 2013, and given a 50-50 chance of surviving until Christmas that year. -
Bob Gallo, son of Julio (nephew of Ernest) of the eponymous winery, has died aged 89.

Composer/producer/musician Dave Grusin is 90 today. He's won 10 Grammies from 38 nominations, and one Academy Award from eight nominations.. He has written the score for may films, including The Graduate, On Golden Pond and Tootsie. His Oscar win was for the score to The Milagro Beanfield War (1989). -
