    The dead of 2016

Emile Ford's been in my DDP team since 2011, and strangely, a unique selection each time. Surely there must be a QO in the offing soon! Edit: That's if it's true of course; a google search shows one source, "St Lucia On Line", though the story no longer appears on their site. Wiki has has him dead, but their source is the same press release you link!

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2017

The committee is the committee and they are beholden to no man. There has been an experiment this year with the crowdsourced deathlist but the jury is still out on that one. The DL is the committee's baby, hence they're free to ignore (or not) suggestions in these threads; they have been known to add names based on suggestions (see John Edrich, 2010, Harlan Ellison 2011 - both of whom are still alive and kicking, so you can understand their reluctance to wholeheartedly embrace suggestions somewhat). Please don't get all Sir Creep on us!

    Interesting Ways To Die...

Search function yields this. http://www.heraldtribune.com/article/20160418/WIRE/160419648 Looks like SC missed a digit off his URL! (Wouldn't bother to click as SC has quoted it verbatim).

    Mollie Sugden et al

talking of Patricia Routledge, Fans of Drop the Dead Donkey will be sad to hear that the actor David Swift , who played Henry Davenport in every episode of the series has died at 85. He was the brother of Clive Swift who was Hyacinth Buckets husband on Keeping up Appearances http://david.swift.muchloved.com/ The guy who does the tube announcements gets national mourning but you can't find a single newspaper article about David Swift! That is the kind of thing that would make Henry blow his top. Better late than never.

    The Deathlist Howto

Not really - Death Star last active 2004 and Staying Alive - 2013 and Staying Alive 2 - 2008 and Tuber Mirum - 2015 Unless there was even more. DDT, Boudicca and Lady Grendel are also inactive but have conveniently set there last active to private. Which they are perfectly entitled to do.Amazing how one person starts the ball rolling about something so utterly trivial, obviously they have no vested interest (unlike somebody once upon a time.....) in who, what, why or when regarding our mods but still makes an issue out of fuck all. SC has NO chance of EVER becoming a mod on here so he can fuck off and you have baited enough mods not to give a shit who is one or who isn't. It was and is a non story to everybody who isn't obsessed with being a mod or questioning why we still have inactive mods. Nothing to see here....... Rather a few inactive mods than some of the more active posters!

    Hugh Hefner

Money and sex....that's why Hugh is 90 today and he'll keep up until 100, I bet my ass he will i know that you mean, and in part you are right but... also it's probably that at his age can have an heart attack "during the act" Studies have shown that people who have lots of sex and enjoy it have a low chance of heart attack....meaning: heart is a muscle and he's pumping it to perfection.....his heart is healthier than my whole body, that's why MJ died at 50 Forever blowing bubbles. God smote him down. Incidentally, did those studies inform you as to the chance of a heart attack for people who have a lot of sex and don't enjoy it? Are there any? Then why do they have sex if they don't enjoy it? I love cake and I eat cake and I enjoy it, I don't enjoy onions so I don't eat them. Probably quite a lot of sex workers. They enjoy the money that comes from sex. Same thing. They get laid and earn hundreds for a 5 minute job, or less..... 1) Enjoying the money that comes from the job, doesn't equate to enjoying the job. 2) Bear in mind that many sex workers are coerced/ threatened/blackmailed into the role. I doubt they enjoy the job, and see precious little money from it.

Yup. I know that, I'm just trying to figure out what soap character Bill Teacher played? Not a character as such, but William Teacher can be found behind the bar in EastEnders, Coronation Street, Emmerdale etc. Already subtley cracked that gag (post 335) old bean. So you did. (but its whisky btw. He was a Scot).
