Welsh actor Howell Evans has died aged 86. He seems to have been the 'go to' Welshman, appearing in How Green Was My Valley, The Englishman who went up a hill..., Stella as well as many staples of British TV, Coronation St, Z Cars, Open All Hours, amongst others.
