That Telegraph obit reveals Dugdale's date of birth to be 25-3-1941, so missed the birthday party-pooper bonus by a week (still, she had St. Paddy's Day).

Has garnered a fair bit of press recently with the film Baltimore about to be released, with the Irish Independent and The Guardian running features recently.

Kenjiro Shinozuka, first Japanese driver to win the Paris-Dakar (1997), dead aged 75, from pancreatic cancer.
-
His best work in my opinion.

To quote from the rules... www.pressreader.com/uk if it can be used to prove the existence of a print obituary in any of the sources mentioned above. Guardian Weekly isn't one of the sources mentioned above, so I'd say on that basis, it doesn't count.

The Happy Birthday Thread
time replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
There's also a The Italian Job connection Jones wrote the music. -
Steve Smith has been updated to the footballer rather than the drummer. Point me in the direction of a QO if you see one!
-
I see it. I don't know how I missed that not only during the initial sweep, but also the review! Just don't tell him.
-
Lol at DDP entry being listed as the Journey drummer!
-
This suggestion has merit, though I think - just because it's what I've always done - I'd spell with lower case but still use that 'd' for indexing purposes (which is why I was looking for de Gaulle under D).
-
As @Grim Up North said previously, so much inconsistency, its a bit late in the day to define the rules.
-
I wasn't doubting it, just wondering at the apparent inconsistency.

Thanks, useful to get a definitive answer. i'd like to think whoever put Philippe under 'G' was aware of this, but maybe that's giving them too much credit! De Niro, is of course an Italian name, so you wouldn't necessarily expect it to be treated the same as de Gaulle (is lower case correct in this instance?)
-
Strange, as Charles is definitely a "de Gaulle"!
-
Just how does one "curb your autism"?
-
How come McCourt is filed under 'M', but de Gaulle is filed under 'G'?? (General question, not for YW specifically).

Vince Power, music promoter and club owner (Mean Fiddler, Dingwall's) died, aged 76.

Are you, like me, annoyed every time the media describes a recently deceased celeb as "<insert name of TV show> star", based on the fact they had a brief appearance 20-odd years ago (a recent example being Michael Jayston, described as "Only Fools and Horses Star" despite appearing in just a single episode in 1996? Yes? In that case you'll appreciate this Twixter post by Tom Bennett, son of the recently deceased Take Hart/Hartbeat alumnus Colin Bennett. (click on link; see second tweet in the thread).

Wikipedia says 66, with a third lasting less than a year. Coincidentally, 22 have blue links.

Had Kate not been off the radar since her hospital stay, it would barely have registered. Still if its a simple as choosing the best image of several taken, a simple way of quietening the outrage would be to release the other photographs.
-
He wouldn't be the first celeb to lie about his age (see Virgil for example). But this is the only outlet reporting so far so I wouldn't take it as fact just yet.
-
Not sure how reliable this may be but Richard Chamberlain reported dead.

Ahmed al-Shenawi, Egyptian actor who appeared in Temple of Doom, serving up "snake surprise", dead aged 75; sepsis following an operation. He also appeared in Midnight Express and The Element of Crime, as well as TV roles.

I quit smoking (not for the first time, but hopefully the last - it'd be the price of the bastards that kills me if I restarted) a few years ago and have almost single-handedly kept the wine gum industry afloat since. Consequently I seldom (if ever) crave a fag these days, but am always seeking out wine gums (or fruit pastilles, in an emergency).

On a serious note, I have 2, neither of which are all they would have you believe, but they do serve a purpose. T'interwebs is a good source of info, - Youtube is awash with "how to" videos, possibly even for your specific model. A good starting point is "slightly lower temperature, slightly less time" than you'd use for a conventional oven.
