A unique pick for the Theme Team "And Its Goodnight From Him...". Given that he fell down the stairs, I'd assume that's an unnatural death bonus? Unless it is deemed natural for 89 year olds to fall down stairs... It is and it's the 9th of the year. Can you believe it? Does this have me rocketing up the charts, or do a couple more Ronnie's have to turn up their toes? This does of course mean I'll have extra work to do now to find a replacement Ronnie for next year. Or I could use Ronnie Corbett. -
Jacques Chirac anybody?

Blanket in the ground: Billie-Jo spears dies aged 74.

Sara Payne rushed to hospital 'after collapsing "in agony" '. As this report is from my local paper, she may already have been discharged. They probably wouldn't think about reporting that.

The position of Governor General is actually as the monarch's representative in Australia, it is by no-means a direct leadership role, and although there are several reserve powers that the GG can implement when they see fit, they generally leave any "leading" to the politicians in Canberra. Nor are they appointed to the position by the ruling monarch, that practice began to go out of fashion in the 1930's. They are now appointed by parliament. Sir Zelman Cowen. http://www.abc.net.a...950?section=qld Just out of curiosity did his obit make news in the UK? It did.

I should know better than to respond to the spoutings of a troll, but Mr Walsh didn't say that, it was more akin to killing Gordy off before his time. http://www.nowmagazi...-mix-struggle/1 Anyway, more fool you for actually listening to anything the buffoon says.watching the X factor. sorry, couldn't resist.

I see that TMIB has had an extra X removed from the sub-title of the DDP 2012 thread. Now that we've established a precedent, any chance of having an 'R' inserted into the title of this thread? DL status updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis -
