Wyllie Longmore dead aged 82, cancer. Appeared in Coronation Street, as Dr. McKinnon, and had a part in Love Actually as well as numerous other British drama staple of the 80s onward. Also a presence in theatre.

One for the list of the missed - Wyllie Longmore, who had appeared as Dr. McKinnon in 1992 has died aged 82.

Anyone else a fan of "Upright"? Just finished season 2. Not as good as season 1 overall, but still gets there. A lot better than most of the stuff I've been watching. Anyway seasons 1 & 2 are both available for streaming on Now TV (and presumably regular Sky channels) come highly recommended if you like Tim Minchin (or not).

Re my lawyer comment earlier, his name is Solomon Gresen. Even got the same initials. It's worth noting that he operates on a no-win no-fee basis, so Whiting & Hussey have nothing to lose, and he (Gresen) has potentially a fair bit to gain (the figure quoted is "believed to be in excess of $500 million"). If I had money I'd bet the last of it on it being the lawyerrthat instigated the law suit (See also the Nevermind kid, and quite likely the Tyler woman).

I understand that but the debate herein is about one specific case and - apologies if I misinterpreted - it appeared to me that you were defending Tyler's actions by saying teenage girls get horny. I'd still wager that the boyfriends of the vast majority of 16 year old girls are not 26 year old men. Twenty-six year old men don't generally go out with sixteen year old girls. There's a name for those that do.

How many of those girls were at it with guys 10 years older, who became their legal guardian in order to move them around the country without fear of prosecution? Not the same thing.
