    Ask A Deathlister

Is this an exam or test question or is it a 'real-life' problem that you're trying to solve? Either way, I don't know how anyone can access a powerpoint show without any Powerpoint software, be it .pot, .ppt or .pps. Also, afaik, you can't save a Powerpoint presentations as a .bmp. file (in the version I've used anyway). There is a free Powerpoint viewer (available from MS) that enables viewing (but not editing) a presentation, seems to like .ppt files. Don't know if this helps, but that's the extent of my Powerpoint knowledge. You could try Dave Gorman!

Did Gerald Sim die last December or was it an erogenous report? We've discussed this in the DDP thread, I'm 100% sure he's dead but this hasn't been picked up by the press for whatever reason. Possibly when Sheila Sim carks it the papers will find out he's also kaput. Gerald Sim Obituary, finally. Date of death 11 December 2014.

  20. Who's Anita Baker?regards,Hein Here maybe you can bone up on your contemporary pop artists for Christ sake. 5 Platinum albums I'll assume ONE copy of the goddamn things sold in Holland. 8 Grammys I dunno maybe I retrospect you heard of her. Jesus .... SC "Anita Denise Baker (born January 26, 1958)[1] is an American singer-songwriter.....Baker eventually released her first solo album, The Songstress, in 1983. In 1986, she rose to stardom following the release of her platinum-selling second album, Rapture, which included the Grammy-winning single "Sweet Love". <b>To date, Baker has won eight Grammy Awards and has five platinum albums <\b>and one gold album to her credit." http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anita_Baker I'd never heard of her either. Anita Baker has had one (1) top-50 charting single in the UK (No. 15 with Sweet Love, 1986). That's as many as Joe Dolce. (Sorry, not up on the Dutch charts) So, irrespective of how many Grammy's yada, yada, yada, she's just not that famous this side of the pond.

    From Cleric To Relic

Rev Jack Heaslip, pastor to U2 has died aged 71 after battling MND. He was an Anglican, which rather ruins my image of a priest touring the world with a rock band shout 'feck', 'girls' 'whiskey.

I didn't know they all had sex-changes? I don't see anything wrong in referring to Thespians of either sex 'actors'. We don't make a distinction for doctors. (At least in English - Swedish maybe different!)
