I imagine previous DL candidates are, by default, already being considered. So I won't waste time listing them, as they are already on your radar. But here are some new names for consideration; enjoy my meager contribution: Gaston Glock: Weapons Designer (Glock, a-dur!)- Suffered two strokes (in 2008 and 2012), sustained mulitple head injuries resulting from an attempted murder in 1999- turns 86 Joe Cocker: Rocker- Reportedly in failing health according to close friend Billy Joel. I know it's not much to go off of, but perhaps enough to warrant listing him at, like, #48 on the list. Don Rickles: Comedian- Unlike most of the still-active Hollywood legends that have been listed, Don is visibly frail, requiring a cane or wheelchair for mobility. He turns 88. Morrissey: Singer- Has Cancer, as everybody knows, blah blah blah...

Terrorists & Topical Terrorist Targets

Hope you and yours stay safe, Wildstorm. Thanks. I think the worst of it is over though. There's still one shooter at large but hopefully it will be taken care of soon. -
Terrorists & Topical Terrorist Targets

There are currently shootings going on in downtown Ottawa right now. My boyfriend's office (2 blocks away) is in lock down mode, and there's reportedly a shooter on the hotel roof 3 blocks from my house. I'm kinda freaking out. A soldier was shot at the War Memorial and another soldier was killed yesterday by a suspected terrorist. The two events might be connected which is why I'm posting it in this thread. Update: The gunman at Parliament was shot and killed -
Stephen Hawking, I hear he has ALS...

Where Will The Next School Massacre Be?
wildstorm replied to maryportfuncity's topic in DeathList Forum
Two students dead (and one injured) in shooting at school in Toronto area. Though, technically, the shooting didn't take place on school grounds (it was a block away), but involved students nonetheless- not sure if it still counts. -

Sorry but for the 500th time we can't view the Enquirer website over here in Yoorup. We just get a blank white page with the message "service not available in your area". Could you guys please copy+paste some of the article or something next time.....? Even if you are saying it's crap..... Sorry, I haven't seen (or went looking for) the other 499 posts regarding the issue. Won't happen again (from me, anyway). Here's a screen cap for those who are curious:
-
Al Suomi, the oldest ever-lived former NHL player (does that make sense grammatically? I'm tired), has died at age 100.
-
National Enquirer is reporting that she's experiencing her sad last days... which means she'll probably live to be 105.
-
I was also tempted to keep this to myself, but during a recent concert Billy Joel reported that singer Joe Cocker is in failing health.

Seems in good spirits in a recent video (Not sure if link works outside North America) Seems a little clueless, but I'm not sure if it's due to his age or if he's always been that way.

Was going to be my unique pick for next year but, for the benefit of this community, I will suggest Gaston Glock the inventor of the Glock handgun. He has suffered two strokes (one in 2008 and one in 2012) but also suffered multiple head injuries during an attempted murder back in 1999, and will be turning 86 next year.

Spirit of the West singer, John Mann, diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease. You'll have to excuse me, I'm not at my best.
-
Bobby Vinton unable to perform at Joan Rivers funeral due to bout with pneumonia. Worth keeping an eye on.
-
Iconic fiddler, Buddy MacMaster, dead at 89. At least we still have Natalie.
-
Paul Raines, CEO of GameStop, underwent surgery to remove a brain tumour And keeping with his GameStop values, he probably offered to purchase the extracted tumour for $2 and re-sell it for $39.99.

People I Was Surprised To Find Are Still Alive
wildstorm replied to Catherine's topic in DeathList Forum
Izola Curry: you may remember her from such assassination attempts as Martin Luther King, Jr in Harlem in 1958. Currently 98 years old and was placed in a nursing home after sustaining injuries from a fall.
