Apparently he'll be discharged "soon" (After being in hospital since last December), just in time for his wife to divorce him for having an affair with a nurse.
-
He says that he still wants to die... well, that makes two of us who want him dead. Also, he denies having dementia. Fun quote from the article: "Brady had claimed being kept in a hospital breached of his human rights"...
-
He's determined to stay alive for a while yet. Not sure how much control he has on that, however he claims "there is nothing wrong with [his] brain or [his] heart" and also recently announced "that he has decided to be artificially ventilated when his lungs are no longer able to function on their own". He's as stubborn as Zsa Zsa.

And now her mother is hospitalized. Rough week for Julia. -
Hank Aaron takes a tumble. Hospitalized for hip replacement surgery. Should make a full recovery, however this type of thing typically weakens people at such a delicate age.

First hit of the year for DL? Nice. Happy birthday, me! "Then fall, Caesar"

Look beyond the make up. He is struggling to string a sentence together, his suit fits him like a tent and he seems to be in a permanent grimace when not forcing himself to look at the podium instead of the audience. Then watch a youtube video of him from 6 months ago and see the difference in his demeanor. Sadly, I think that was probably his last public appearance and I'd maybe, if pushed, go so far as tip him for the first hit of the year. This is of course his cue to live 2 more years. I just re-watched the video, with your observations in mind. You're right, he does seem to be struggling. I'm way too naive for this deathlist game.

He gave a pretty funny acceptance speech at the awards dinner of the Writers Guild. He doesn't look too bad, you know, given the circumstance and whatnot.

Pittsburgh Penguins' 26-year old defenseman Kris Letang is out for 6 weeks after suffering a stroke. Apparently, he was born with a small hole in the wall of his ventricle- this kind of news is heart-breaking.

Mr. Hockey, Gordie Howe, has been battling uhh... uhh... ummmm.... uhhh.... dementia for, uuhhh... 3 years now?

Paul Marc Rousseau, guitarist for the Emo band Silverstien, is hospitalized undergoing emergency abdominal surgery. [i figure he'll make the incision himself, since he's emo thus has experience in cutting himself.]
-
Driver, Memo Gidley, has a broken back as a result of the crash. Has since had leg and arm surgery, soon to have back surgery. Yikes

Former WWE wrestler Rosey (Not pictured in the article) was hospitalized after suffering from early stages of congestive heart failure. Apparently 62 lbs of fluid was drained from his body. That's, like, half of my weight.

Oopsie daisy. He took a tumble in his prison cell and fractured his hip. Hospitalized in Liverpool.

Hospitalized Nothing serious, though. She thought she had an abdominal aneurysm... turned out to be a kidney stone (Brought on by emotional trauma from 'something that happened recently') -
I know it's been suggested before, but Lemmy from Motörhead could be a contender for next year. Diagnosed with severe haematoma last year, after collapsing on stage. Before that he was fitted with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator to teat an irregular heart beat. He's also got a bad diabetic problem. Not to mention all those years of wild hedonism. Also, he says he wants to die on stage, so it wouldn't surprise me if he pulls a Michael Jackson and pushes himself overboard. *Moved: I guess we aren't meant to make suggestions in the 'ideas for 2015' thread if the person in question already has a thread of their own? Noted for next time.*

"So weak that a cold could take his life" according to his son, Franklin. Irrelevant, but I thought it was funny: He goes on to say that he needs his father to survive because he really '...enjoy having lunch with him every Sunday'. Either that's one really amazing lunch or he finds his father so boring that their lunchtime is the only thing he'll miss when Billy dies.

He, apparently, spent two weeks in the hospital recently and was discharged just prior to New Years Day.

Looking frail, makes his first public appearance in nearly a year at the opening of a Havana art studio.

Seems to be doing okay in , reciting 'Invictus' from memory.

I remember when Canadian Paul originally suggested Chris Woodhead a few years ago- at the time I couldn't even find a Wikipedia page for the guy, thus I didn't bother to look into any news stories/updates about his condition. Surprised he hasn't already offed himself by now.
