Fair point but I would say Jonah Lumu was by far the most famous NZ rugby player despite perhaps not being the best player. Maybe he will get UK obits - we will see. While we have your attention, is there any chance of you making the chat function work? I'll give you free weather forecasts for a year. E.g. it'll be slightly cloudy in Berkhamsted on May 21st.

It's just a rehash of this one from a few months back https://www.thesun.co.uk/archives/news/1146368/after-deaths-of-prince-and-david-bowie-its-the-sick-website-predicting-which-a-list-celebrity-will-die-next/ And plenty of others over the years, going back to the Keith Richards classic from 2006.

Everywhere you go in 2017, don't forget to take the weather with you. Happy New Year!

Nice to see him on celebrity university challenge tonight, even though he barely troubled the scorers. That number 1 pick seems so long ago.

Signed up for Mary Poppins redux, no plans to retire.

RIP Ian. Who can forget that time we all... sat on a bridge and pretended it was raining.

That's three Grand National winners' deaths inside a year... And another - Lord Gyllene, who won the 1997 'Monday National' (ridden by the aptly-named Tony Dobbin) by miles after bomb threats postponed Saturday's race. He was 28.

As a rugged northern weatherman in a Pringle sweater, it's tough to admit to a penchant for disco smoochers, but here goes... Fat Larry's band - Zoom The Real Thing - you to me are everything Gene Chandler - Does she have a friend? EWF - After the love is gone Lowrell - Mellow Mellow right on Hi Gloss - You'll never know Chi-lites - Have you seen her? Raydio - Two places at the same time KC and the sunshine band - please don't go Sweet Sensation - Sad sweet dreamer Rick James - Ebony eyes. But the saddest admission of all, and slightly weather-related, is Terry Jacks' version of a Jacques Brel classic. I can't even bring myself to write it down. -

Residents and MPFC favourites Pearl C and Teddy J banging out Sing Little Birdie in a student film about BH from a couple of years back. https://britishmusichallsociety.wordpress.com/2015/06/01/variety-of-memories/ No sign of Dickie O though.

I've read Tarantula - in fact I think you suggested it to me about a decade ago, when I posted that I'd just waded through one of Leonard Cohen's books. How the author if the words could end up winning the Nobel Prize beats me. He won it for Wiggle Wiggle.

I don't think this has been mentioned, but Caroline Crawley, singer with Shelleyan Orphan and This Mortal Coil, died recently.

BBC report on new leader being announced, but no information on Shekau who is in the DDP this year. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-36963711 Missing in action yet again? Some newspapers, citing military claims, are reporting that Abubakar Shekau was killed along with top commanders in a series of air strikes. There are conflictlictual reports: some media are reporting his death while others instead mention that he has been gravely wounded. This is the third time that his death was reported so caution is always good. http://www.independent.ie/world-news/africa/boko-haram-leader-abubakar-shekau-fatally-wounded-in-nigerian-army-air-strike-34987709.html Army tweet Not dead according to the man himself: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-37465860 This fellow's been dead or alive more times than Pete Burns on 80s retro tours. Handy cut-out-and-keep guide. -
