Confirmation here Anyone know if cancer of the pancreas is a 'bad' cancer? My brother died 8 days after being diagnosed with it. Admittedly they "caught" it very late and by then it had spread to other major organs, but it's one of the really nasty ones that shows no symptoms until it's too late. Sadly, I'll be very surprised if Wilko's still here in the summer. The farewell tour is being hastily put together for March as he probably won't be strong enough or well enough after that. I think you're right that he won't make it to the summer.

I feel honoured that I got to have a beer with him (well I had a beer, he had water) when he played as a guest on John Otway's "21st anniversary of the hit" gig at the Royal Albert Hall. Just wish I could get back in time to see him gig just one last time. Absolutely gutted by this news. I've seen him many times over the years. Just one more album and one more tour and it's goodnight. So sad.
