Congrats to Bou on a great Cinderella run throughout the tourney, congrats to those who got Squonked, I'd like to thank Google News and my girlfriend writing a thesis leaving me with a lot of spare time at weekends to research. And fuck me, I have the taste of blood ready for DDP 2k20 now.

Widely reported on Twitter that Lol Mason has died. He was frontman of City Boy ("5-7-0-5") and, more importantly, one of the all-time great one-hit wonder acts, The Maisonettes. RIP stage-hypnotist-looking bro.

Big if true. -
I assume it's because: a) they themselves were abused by their father; b) they have a strong association with their father in the public eye; or c) they hold a position that would be undermined by this revelation.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9586395/england-football-legend-paedo-dad-caged Any ideas? "England legend" implies more than one cap, living in Surrey and being a former tube worker makes me think he must have been on the books of Crystal Palace at some point... does anyone know anything about the fathers of John Salako or Andy Johnson? Edit: checked, John Salako's dad has been dead for over 40 years. Andrew Johnson actually grew up in Luton... I mean it's feasible his dad worked on the underground travelling from Luton but idk.

Horrendous ending to this. Looks like Dadashev was just a boxer who didn't know when to go down and as such took a ridiculous amount of unnecessary punishment.

What Are You Listening To Right Now?
Spade_Cooley replied to Joey Russ's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Few joys greater than finding a truly incongruous cover version. Doesn't really matter how good it is, or even if it's listenable. Here's doyen of the British folk music scene for the past five decades Richard Thompson covering three-hit sk8 punk poppers Bowling for Soup: -
