Here's a photo of Bobbie crossing the Tallahatchie Bridge:

This is good imho.

You're the young'un here, not me. idk, soundclap rappers merge the 808 sounds of drill rap with lo-fi production techniques taken from late 80s indie rock, innit?
-
I don't think Bobbie Gentry has appeared in public or given a single interview since Douglas Bader was still alive. I'm doubtful this thread will draw her out of the woodwork.
-
Soundcloud rap innit?

Sting/Vader from Superbrawl 93 is still my vote for greatest match of all-time.

IT'S TIME. IT'S OBIT TIME.

At what point does someone deserve their own thread?

Shame we're a year too late for a thread on Ken Wimshurst: he died in 2017. Did Ken Monkou ever push up and play in midfield? -
I prefer the "Drake ordered his assassination" conspiracy.

Meme indie wrestler Alabama Doink has apparently died. Most famous for fighting WWE alum Heidenreich in a buffet parking lot:

You forgot Thomas Remengesau Sr., acting president of Palau between 30 June and 2 July 1985.

Puts you in the top 40. -

If I'm correct, this does make XXX the first XXL Freshman to die. I won't bother with a list of the remaining 108 rappers from it, although I will say that Wifisfuneral is the worst name for a musician ever.

Hope he's not fallen back on the painkillers like he did 20 years ago, dude's been the only entertaining GM in wrestling for decades.

Who's Going To Be Around For A While?

Bill Macy still on fire at 96: -
I mean, it is pretty impressive that someone can come around, legitimately claim to have created (or at least irrevocably changed) a mainstream genre of music, have a #1 album and be dead before they hit 21. At 21 I was still drinking blue Aftershock like it was an acceptable drink.

Xxxtenacion was also keen on shadowing schoolkids if the rumours are to be believed...

Well there's your "big name from WCs past dying during the Mondial" then.

Did some spring cleaning, and found out that cancer mum Julie Shaw, who claimed she was successfully fighting stage IV cancer by drinking prune juice, died on January 29th. A unique DDP pick for CaptainChorizo, but doesn't seem that the press were as interested in her death as her snake oil.

Update. Yes I realise the sidebar has moved, I'll fix it later.

I've got a suspicion his cancer may have come back. He was given a "special award" at the Tonys last week, and he received a Special Recognition award at the Classical Brits the other day. One honorary award is normal, but two in a week?
