    Death Anniversary Thread

Still one of my favourite facts of all-time: the "Wearside Jack" tapes that massively hindered the Peter Sutcliffe investigation were recorded over an Andrew Gold album.

    Death Anniversary Thread

I knowwwww he wanted to leave us. David Ruffin died and presumably went to hell for all the women he beat up today in 1991, aged just 50.

    Derby Dead Pool 2018

Nothing but respect for all those obituary writers who have so far ignored a Nobel prize winner, the oldest living baseball player and a man every newspaper wrote about last December, so I can do my update at the weekend instead.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2019

Andrea Dworkin's been dead since 2005 in fairness.

OK, so he lasted 39 minutes. I will pick someone else.

Pakistani drug baron/innocent framed man Zulfiqar Ali

    Donald J Trump

So we're all agreed he beat the shit out of her one night and she's hiding until the black eye goes away, yes?

    Wrestlers/actors

Although this tweet from a 27-follower account thinks she died in 2012, so idk.

    Wrestlers/actors

Possible contender for oldest living professional wrestler: Tona la Tapatia, a luchadora who worked in the EMLL between 1958 and 1980, was apparently born December 17, 1918, and as far as the internet seems to know is still alive. Wouldn't exactly bet on a QO though.

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

Elaine Holstein, mother of Jeffrey Miller - the dead student in the iconic photo of the Kent State shootings - dead at 96.

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

Max Allegri's mother, Carla, dead at 73.

    Dead Pop Stars

Joined in the afterlife now by Anal Cunt guitarist Josh Martin, who has died at 46 after falling off a shopping mall escalator. Fantastic excerpt from his obit there:

    Dead Pop Stars

Stewart Lupton, frontman of highly tipped but ultimately unsuccessful late 90s indie rockers Jonathan Fire*Eater dead at 43. I had it in my head that most of Jonathan Fire*Eater went on to be in Electric Six, but it was actually The Walkmen. Mandela effect?

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2019

Complete coincidence that she's chosen to stand against the senator responsible for the Magnitsky Act, I'm sure.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2019

Please call the Irishman Stephen Lennon by his real name.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2019

By "writer" do you mean graffiti artist? Is it Phase 2?

    Time Added

Serie D footballer Federico Zini, who was only 25 but had still found time to play in Malta, the Phillipines, Bulgaria's second division and Mongolia before returning to Italy, has killed his wife and taken his own life in a murder-suicide. As said previously, never trust a footballer who has played in that many irrelevant countries.

    The Muppets (and other puppets)

Yeah, that money could have gone to a digital TV receiver.

    MMMDP 2018

MMMDP Form Guide #51: Alan Bean Thanks, T Hanks. Alan Bean was the worst single by beloved late 90s indie incels Hefner, but could he be the best pick in this pool?

    Boxing Clever?

I notice the BBC decided to make the main strand of their reporting on Francis' death an interview with his promoter, 2010 Living End pick Chris Sanigar.
