Cheeky update before I do some work behind the scenes over the next week, and before Morgan T dies.

We reckon this Maldives folderol is going to see any bodies caught?

The official Thurl Ravenscroft fansite is quite something. -

Here's one: Lady and the Tramp, 1955. Now, you'd assume skimming the cast list that, with the death of Stan Freberg in 2015, the cast is all gone. However, the "dogs at the pound" were played by the vocal group The Mellomen, who featured, among others, Thurl "Tony the Tiger" Ravenscroft. Now assuming the Mellomen line-up in the film was the 1955 line-up, we know Max Smith died in 1999 and Ravenscroft in 2005. But Bob Hamlin vanishes after he left the Mellomen, and even the Disney fansites don't have a clue. Anyone got a lead? Side note: The Mellomen were also the first act to release R&B records under the Columbia imprint, despite former Deathlist favourite Mitch Miller attempting to sabotage the project. -

Murder By Death (1976) is the kind of film we're after - remote county house setting means that there's no extras or crowd scenes, and it has a very high star ratio for its cast (including, yes, Peter Falk). Only three actors still with us as well. who all play sidekicks in the film: Maggie Smith, James Cromwell and Richard Narita. -

I checked Guys and Dolls a little while ago when the missus was watching it. Obviously it's a clean sweep at the top, but Renee Renor (the singer who performs "A Woman In Love") has very little information online about her. Certainly no death date. -

We're waiting on George Segal to go before we can cross Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf (1966) off the list: the other five castmembers (Taylor, Burton, Sandy Dennis and two extras) are all gone. I've not seen Heaven Knows Mr Allison (1957)... has anyone watched it? It does only have two actors (Deborah Kerr and Robert Mitchum, both long gone), but apparently the movie ends with a military invasion? Does it count? And then, if that doesn't count, does the scene when they walk out of the courtroom right at the end of 12 Angry Men and some other people walk past mean that we're a lot further than one person away from crossing that film off? -

Assuming Ann Gillis and WPC Davies both get obits (which I would assume are guaranteed by the end of February), that means January 2018 will beat the record for the most hits in one month. A nice leisurely start to my time at the helm then.

I've tried looking but, even for such a legendary film, you're talking about an actor who was on screen for less than 30 seconds all in all 60 years ago. I think the only hope is finding someone online saying "oh my grandfather was in that film, he played the guard" and tracking down from there.
-
I honestly have no idea where to start being as it's such a common name. What I do have is that I'm pretty sure his middle initial was "A", and being as 12 Angry Men was filmed in New York it's not too much of a leap to imagine he lived there for a while. That's it though.

Died mid-2015 according to this:
-
Beloved national treasure Katie Hopkins goes to South Africa to report on white genocide, takes ketamine, gets hospitalised. I don't even know.

Plus that's a great fucking photo, Loses something when squashed down for the homepage I admit, but I love it. Nearly captioned it "see you in a few months Jack?".

Well, he'd be the second Dr Evil henchman to kill someone. Joe Son also has one of my favourite factoids on Wikipedia: he lost an MMA fight due to "terror".

Angelo Dundee, "the only honest man in boxing", went back to his corner for good today in 2012. -
Mowzey Radio gets the Brian Deane trophy this time out. Kudos Roey.

Haven't had a two-fer in ages, probably since Viola Beach, so enjoy this one. Former NBA star Rasual Butler and his wife, American Idol alum Leah LeBelle, both dead in a car accident.

Right nationality, wrong Pierre W with an O and an E in their four-letter surname...
-
Nope, first name. Actually quite a famous footballer at the time although I'd completely forgotten he'd ever had a Premier League spell. Most known for a penalty miss that prevented his country qualifying for the 2006 World Cup.
-
Yep, seven Premier League goals between 1997 and 1999.
-
Little quick trivia: Arsenal have just signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for a lot of money. If he scores during his stay in London he will be the third Pierre to score a Premier League goal. Who are the other two?

It's really not, it's the same amount of work just spread over a different amount of time. I'm trying to streamline a lot of the DDP process because, I think, in future we'll be seeing a lot more two/three-year gamerunner stretches, rather than TMIB's marathon run, so I'm looking at ways that the game can be easily turned over to another person.
