Whereas 14 foreign-born managers have a 50%+ win ratio: Ranieri, Van Gaal, Villas-Boas, Klopp, Hiddink, Benitez, Scolari, Wenger, Pellegrini, Mancini, Ancelotti, Mourinho, Guardiola, Conte.
-
Yep. Played 4, won 2, drawn 1, lost 1.
-
Brooking does have a 50%+ win ratio as West Ham manager, but only three of his games were in the Premier League. The rest were in the Championship after Roeder was fired.
-
Ed Westwick up in the firing line now, xoxo.
-
Nope. The clue is kinda in the question: he only managed four games. At the end of a season....
-
Tactics Tim isn't a bad shout, but it's someone with a shorter managerial run.
-
Great trivia question: Of the 139 Premier League-era managers who were British or Irish that have managed four or more games, only two have a win ratio of at least 50%. One is Alex Ferguson. Who's the other?

I don't think they'll be any further Delays...

Fred Dibnah ran out of steam today in 2004. -
Yukihiro "Tokyo Joe" Sakada dead at 75. Confined to a wheelchair since 1974, he helped train most of the Hart family-affiliated wrestlers after Stu's death, as well as being a long-time booker of North American talent for NJPW.

Talking of Sabrina, have you seen how far Harvey has gone downhill in 20 years?

In pornography you change from being jailbait to a MILF overnight, usually on your 27th birthday.

Between Charon and our Italianate crowd, I think we have enough left-footers to run them off.

Pier Paolo Pasolini had A Violent Death today in 1975 -
Former Ajax and Vitesse centre-back Abubakari Yakubu dead at 36. He was part of the Ghana side that choked so badly in the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations that most of the team didn't feature in the World Cup six months later. He also featured in World Soccer magazine's "Best Young Team In The World" for 2003, alongside Fernando Torres, Andres Iniesta and John O'Shea.

Deathrace form guide #28: Mangosuthu Buthelezi Not all iconic African politicos spend their days shitposting on the DL forums. Buthelezi, who for 42 years has been leader of South Africa's Inkatha Freedom Party, has today announced his intentions to step down from the post. Does this mean he's about to pop his clogs, or does he just want to spend more time pottering around the garden and watching Foyle's War repeats on ITV2? If you're not a keen fan of Sifrican politics and think you still recognise him, that's because he actually played Cetshwayo (his own great-grandfther) in Zulu.

Noticed that in one evening, Dick licked the faces of Farah Fawcett, Carrie Fisher and Patton Oswalt, in that order. Might be worth putting PO on your deadpool team for 2023.

Death Race Form Guide #21: Frank Busseri Morning "Live"? Are you sure? Devoted deadpoolers will know that of the first ever UK singles chart, two artists are still alive (Vera Lynn and Doris Day). However, perhaps less known is that you then need to jump around three months for the first still-surviving male musicians to make the hit parade, in the form of two members of The Four Lads. Why not take a chance on Frank Busseri, 85 and still performing with the band unlike the workshy Bernie Toorish, who left the group in the 1970s.

I might bring The Rookie Draft back, depends on who was born in 1999. Did find out there's an already cast-to-the-scrapheap 18-year-old former American Idol contestant with the unfortunate name Diamond White.

Form guide #9: Gene Deitch I always assume he's dead, and one day he's going to die and two people will score points on the DDP after both the Times and the Guardian roll out their pre-written obituaries two days later, so why not see if you can cash in on it this December? How many other people ruined Tom and Jerry from the safety of post-Stalinist Czechoslovakia?

First Sean Hughes, now Sean Hayes? Will and Grace star had to cancel recent media engagements due to a "life-threatening condition".
