oxymoron, surely. Strange - I don't find that one here.

I think we have been down this road before.

Does it constitute an arrestable offonce?? If so, you have the power!

Topic title now changed to reflect her death - and until anyone comes up with anything better, I have purloined Anubis' succinct message of her passing.

She's Gone There are not many politicians I admire - but she was one of the few.

Same here - from day 1. Although the hoped for presents (money especially welcome!) have so far failed to arrive. -
Notapotato is correct, as illustrated by this very useful link (and although I can't recall who first posted it, my deepest thanks ) Who / Whom

I don't know. You get me all excited, then at the very last minute, shatter my hopes and dreams. Just like being at home with Mrs Teddy

I couldn't find anything about her life after divorce, I doubt if she counts as famous anyway. About as famous at this guy

Brown envelope stuffed with £20 notes helps -
I hope not - I've already opened the champagne Even if there was such a stroke it doesn't necessarily mean she's kicked the bucket. I just checked BBC news and found nothing.. Hold off on popping that cork. Don't worry, it'll get drunk - either in celebration or drowning my sorrows
-
And lets try to get the credit this time - perhaps suggest a link at the right of the story....

Yeah, thats better! The unknown first husband of a woman who died 40 years ago

The bit about staying in your seats in order to help investigators identify bodies may not be that far removed from the truth. I recall reading, many years ago (which explains why I can't remember where) that life jackets are absolutely no use if a plane crashes in water, except to help searchers locate the site of the crash. They basically fly around looking for a circle of bright yellow jackets floating in the water - O marks the spot!

That is just so old it's practically decaying..... Must try better.... -
Ah yes, that famous actress, star of the silent era, who made 3 movies between 1926-1928. Tell me guest, before reading this in the Plymouth Evening Herald (The Voice of Plymouth!), had you ever heard of her??

You mean like this? -
I went to school with a girl from Malta and I worked with a man who moved to Malta does that count for nothing Teddy? Afraid not
-
Can we just ban the whole of Malta. I realise that it will make the Dom Mintoff thread a little boring, but since no Maltesers have posted there for a while, not really a major loss
-
They are probably under the belief that all these crashes, as opposed to 9/11 (or 11/9 for those of us who do these things correctly) which was deliberate. But we know better, don't we Mr Bin Liner...

I do hope you also informed them that their delay in announcing his death had led to some debate on this forum. Might get some more publicity for DL

Millions? That's quite a margin of error there Janeo. Can you be more specific? Are we talking a mere few, tens or hundreds? May I join in, and helpfully point you here. Doesn't give the numbers who fought, but does give dead, wounded and prisoners. EDIT: This site gives more information, including total number mobilized!
