Robin Jackman diagnosed with cancer But which type? -
Come on Faustino, I haven't had a hit in months...

Paul McCartney is an absolute legend. He gets unfair abuse for not being Lennon and for being cheesy in his old age (alright, he's always been cheesy). He was the most talented Beatle. There.
-
I was hoping this one might be kept under wraps, I was going to go with him on the basis that he'd be a rare choice not sure he's worth a pick now as he could easily survive to 2014 if he's just been diagnosed.
-
I think she'll survive the next couple of years. Not going to put her in my team, might be a good differential if my hunch is right given that the majority of teams will pick her.

Chopper Read says on Twitter that chemotherapy has been 'very positive', so maybe not as nailed as some think. Penny for anyone's thoughts on Andrew Smith? Can't decide if no news means he's improved or declined... -
Do we even know if Bazza's cancer is that serious? I had five minutes spare at work the other day and did some googling about my longlist... found a few threads on one of the Burnley message boards, one saying "it'll be a miracle if he's still alive by Christmas" and another saying "he's back at work". So you take your chances.... I'm willing to be half of the serious contenders for next year's trophy will have Ryan Buell as captain, tbh. I'm pretty content with my team at the moment but then if it's that good a lot of them will be dead in the next three months and if they're not, it sort of suggests they're more resilient than I've assumed...I reckon I'll hold off on Kilby for the moment. Buell's a safe bet but tempted to go all out risk next year (after a poor year) and try and get even more joker points than he offers.

Farewell, Clive Dunn.

Sportsman's aunt, by any chance? Sportsman's mother-in-law (but his wife is famous too) She's not in my 20 at the moment anyway, and I've got enough risky-obituary picks although with 3 months to go I might want to bring her in as a replacement (but I won't unless I find her blasted name)

Do we even know if Bazza's cancer is that serious? I should've gone with Williams really...ah, hindsight...
-
Well....we do have a "Mrs M" on this year's list, so it's possible... They're a famous person's relation so I would have identified them previously if they died, even if I didn't have their name beforehand
-
I've got someone in mind for next year's DDP, except I don't know their name (their first name at least)...I take it I would need to find their full name for them to be eligible? Cheers.

What is he sulking about? There's always the possibility that he isn't but he hasn't posted since the 'Jo Bryant Incident' (as he legend will become known as) so it seems likely that a break has been taken (at least I hope it's just a break...) -

He says he's glad to have 'caught it early' - either the the media's reporting the wrong diagnosis or his doctor hasn't explained to him exactly what stage IV entails... Edit: It's just me who's misinformed...prostate cancer is staged from 1-10 rather than 1-4 so he's much more likely to be cured than it seems
