I will defend DI by admitting I came up with the new compromise darts thread title and if folk don't like it I am man enough to blame the copious amount of whisky I was/am drinking when asked for my opinion.

Knew he looked ill on that show last year. Why do I never take note of my own forum musings?

Mrs Slocombe in Are You Being Served. The cast of which were prime DDP fodder about 20 years ago, but iirc, all of the main ones are now dead. US equivalent would have been a Bea Arthur, who died around the same period of time, actually.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
msc replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Not much correlation between charts and personal taste there, although Teardrops is a proper tune. And not a coroner's tune as autocorrect tried to write! -
Be like another thread being named Zelda Rubinstein and other American actors nowadays!

There is a Crumble reference somewhere in todays updates - my little joke...

Yes, I had a spare 5 mins, and it saves it being needed to be done later on given he has all the QOs.

Everything bar the Lists of the Lost and Missed updated but sod it, they can wait for another day.
-
The source by looks of it: You'd have expected that to travel beyond that tweet in 4 days though, not even a single reply!

Sweet Sweetback's Goodbyeeeee Song (Paused before posting as ninja'd as usual!)

Shame. Good comedy actor.

Gabriel Woolf, Doctor Who/The Brothers/Wizards vs Aliens. Like the late Stephen Moore, primarily a voice actor but has appeared on screen. Vilma Hollingbery, The Sweeney/Not Going Out/Inside no 9/Psychoville Avril Elgar, George and Mildred/Tales of the Unexpected/Carrie's War Murray Melvin, Torchwood/Tyrant King/Jonathan Creek Antony Carrick, Yes Minister/Hammer House of Horror/Tales of the Unexpected (he's the dad in Taste, one of the most famous episodes) Roland Curram, Terry and June/Eldorado Sure there's more...

When Roy last showed up on TV just before lockdown, he was an old frail man shaking with what seemed to be heavy Parkinsons and barely able to speak. I didn't recognise him until I heard his (now very weak) voice. Would be a good DL addition in my book, given he was in good health just over 2 years ago, so this decline has been rapid.

' Oh man, I didn't recognise the name but the face is instantly recognisable from dozens of shows, including 2 memorable roles in The X-Files, White Collar and a recurring role in Stargate.

In the forums defence there ARE about 2 million medallists to choose from.

The 1925 we knew was wrong but were the hell did an Alloa birth come from then? Alloa's not only nowhere near Kirkcaldy, but there's a much bigger city to confuse place of birth with (Dunfermline) inbetween the two!

The Old Silurian. I spent ages trying to track him down when doing that updated list a few weeks ago, to no avail whatsoever. But other folk with far more contacts than I have hit a brick wall trying to find him, he genuinely just gave up all his acting contacts when he retired and nobody seems to know where he went to. It's a common name, with very little known about his life, so nigh impossible to track down.

This makes me feel a bit better about the intended audience for my intended joke reply: Yes, I think that's what the original post was hoping!

That IS a QO btw, the Guardian posts the same article worldwide which is why when I clicked your link its "UK edition". -
Would be Leslie Philips outliving another cast member of Churchill The Hollywood Years if so. (And Anthony Sher played Hitler in that!)
-
Apparently this one is for the chop too. List of living former members of the Cabinet of the United Kingdom - Wikipedia "It's useful, interesting or fascinating" is apparently not grounds for being kept. Wikipedia, a once useful tool being wrecked by job nazis...

When I said summer, I meant last October. It's been one of those years.

George Cohen seems in decent health - still being interviewed on a fairly regular basis, and being a bulldog for dementia cases. On the other hand, iirc someone on here posted a pic of Ron Flowers during the summer and he looked like he had one foot in the grave already.

If its not Hurst I'll be surprised. He's still in good nick and only 78 so even if he declines around Charlton's age that's still a few years yet.
