Think Otis (2003) and Sparrow (2005) were Americans too. MT Graves is the only person to have won it posthumously. He died in summer 2000, before his team won the DDP that year.

Unfortunately the Catholic church was - still sort of is - controlled outright by the hardline right wing JP2/Benny for 30 odd years, and all control on Cardinals/high ranking posts went through them and their prejudices (which admittedly were widespread in society up to about 2 or so decades ago). So the posts tended to be syphoned off for folk who agreed with those, while the more progressive wing of Catholicism was viewed as being the great enemy. I think I speak for DDP hosts and co-hosts, present and future, by saying there's always space for you whenever you want to join in. Actually, on the note of former DDP champs, 2021 has SEVEN former winners playing: Reptile, DI, DDT, Drunkasaskunk, JoeRam (in every game since 2000!), the Deathlist Cmme themselves and Spade. This equals the record set by the 2010 DDP (Matthew..., DDT, Meet your Maker, Fallen Sparrow, JoeRam, Drunkasaskunk, Deathlist) which was won by, err... some octopus chap or other.

Although I was very close to picking Tony Parkes based on how quickly he seemed to be going downhill (made it to the final 5 axed from the team) and I've since seen no one picked him in the DDP at all!

I did legit watch Sorcerer because I had mixed it up with a so bad its good SF/fantasy film from the 70s about wizards with guns. Wizards that one was called. Sorcerer is instead about Roy Schieder trying to drive a truck through the Colombian jungle while escaping a hitman. Wiliam Freidkin 70s "box office flop". Anyhow, I lucked out, because Sorcerer's a fucking amazing film, and I wouldn't have seen it at all if not for this misunderstanding!

There is a difference there between two shit picks in my book (and my books 1/3 of the decison! )

My view is that if people don't want such arbritary decisions on fame they should stop picking some wankeringly stupid picks. Its quite enough as it is co-running a 500+ plus team deadpool without having to worry about the fame levels of every single sibling/mum in the world. Each one picked was deliberated over, some at considerable length. If you don't like the decision, get to fuck, basically. If it weren't for some of you and your unending addiction to picking 20 year old female nobodies with 2 kids and 1 fatal cancer, none of this would be applicable now.

Been to Denmark twice. Once near Billund when very young - Legoland plus lots of old Jutland area castles/converted windmills. Second time to Copenhagen, youth hostel, introduced to Yorkie chocolate bars being my main memory. Lovely country.
