Just a thought. The way things are going on in Zimbabwe, we should probably consider Morgan Tsvangirai. He could be the next Bhutto (but hopefully tthe timing will be in our favour this year).

Dead According to the Guardian, he is dead.

Neither does he. He just thinks it may help to boost his nationalist credentials... I did read a week or so ago that he said to be in failing health, although he denies it. -
Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2008
Windsor replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
To take Lardy's approach - I have 27 within 2 miles In Croydon, I've got 30 within two miles. It'd probably be higher if the BNP was a little more radical... ARRRRGH I got the dreaded 0 miles!!!! Don't know the racist though unless of course he lives in the house with the swastika on the roof and the extra large gas oven in his garden? Did you finish that outside shower block you were working on Welsh? 0.08 miles. A man called George Shand. Possibly this man here. Anyway, things to do while waiting on death - put up some curtains in the nude. Edit: Hold that! According to the BNP site, one of them lives 0 yards away...on my street. -
President (recumbent) Barack Obama
Windsor replied to Boudicca's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
No, not at all. I just didn't expect Bevel to live so long. I also thought pancreatic cancer was a suitable punishment for the crimes he committed. If he were still living he would still be on there. Everything is always bound to change. Susan Atkins will probably be the next to go. Indeed. But hopefully after the 1st January! -
President (recumbent) Barack Obama

I hope she wasn't the reason you were so keen to get rid of Bevel? I think I suggested her a couple of months ago after Obama's speech. -
Give me a break Harry, he only died yesterday. I would've done it Thursday but there was still no Baugh UK obit (there is now though). I'll update it Monday when I actually have 10 minutes spare to update it.... I've only got the small matter of 100 teams to process over the weekend too. So just be patient please, eh? Wasn't meant as a shot at you, just an observation. Don't be rude, kid. I daresay that Bevel's death will be keeping him busy with 2009 entrants keen to replace him. He would have been number 6 on my list - luckily it wasn't sumbitted.

Billy Graham. Why? Because if he dies now, I'm guessing it would cause OoO quite a bit of extra grief.

Nixon wasn't that bad. I can sympathise with him. Probably because I, like him, am a narcissistic loner who lacks charisma. Besides, the only difference between the Nixon Presidency and all the rest of them is that he was just unlucky enough to get caught. As far as Felt being the most significant death of 2008, you have to ask what effect did Watergate have? Yes, it caused a US President to resign from office for the first time in history. But the only other things to happen as a direct result of Watergate was the Ford Presidency and the Carter Presidency. Did anything significant happen in those years?

Birthdays, Births, Anniversaries ,etc ...for 2008

Happy Birthday CarolAnn! -
Mark Felt is the 13th success of 2008. He is the 173rd success since 2008. The 2008 list is now in second place shared with 2006. Only one more death needed to equal the great 2003 list! But so little time!

At least you didn't catch the gay. Give it a day or two. I was at Fraserburgh Panto last night.

Stagecoach buses. I've had a shitty day because of their shitty service. I turned up for my bus as usual at 7.40AM, waiting for it to arrive at 7.45AM. Unfortunately the bus never showed up. So I waited for the next one which should have come at 8.05AM. It didn't - that came trailing round the corner at 8.20AM. So basically I was standing in the cold like an idiot for 40 minutes, along with other people and two poor old ladies. When I got on the bus, I wasn't exactly amused. The first thing I noticed was the breath leaving my mouth - it was so bloody cold inside the bus that you could see it. Anyway, I wasn't going to complain as at least we were moving. According to the bus driver the bus I had originally been waiting for had broken down. Anyway, 10 miles into our journey we reached the small village of Strichen. The bus came to a halt, and after 10 minutes of the bus not moving we had to reach our own conclusions on what was going on as the driver didn't bother to tell us that the bus was not road worthy - the indicaters were broken or something. We arrived in Strichen at about 8.35, and we had to wait for the next bus to come 10 miles to pick us up. We waited in Strichen in that freezing bus until 9.20AM. In otherwords, instead of sending out an extra bus to pick us up, we had to wait for the next timetabled bus to come through. I finally reached Aberdeen at 10.20AM. I usually arrive in Aberdeen at 9.00AM. Given that the bus broke down in Strichen, I was tempted to go round to Alex Salmond's house to ask him to have a word with his pal, Brian Souter... Its a bloody disgrace! (End of rant).

To be fair, it is a bit of a cheek that some of the people who post on the picture association thread have been banging on about post whoring and quality posting for the last couple of years...

Happy Birthday Bou, and VSBfH. Hope you had a great day. -
It is perhaps understandable that we should be cautious about how ill Goody actually is. It is worth remembering that the news broke when she was in the Indian Big Brother house, with her 'dramatic departure' being in the media spotlight. I suppose we should also consider that her illness has 'gifted' her a sympathetic press which she probably thought would never be possible after the race row two years ago. Thanks to this changed attitude, she has cashed in on reality television documentaries, 'glossy' magazine interviews as well as getting her face in the paper. However, cancer is cancer - and a 40% chance of survival gives sickos like us the advantage. I certainly think that she will probably survive 2009, but we should keep her in mind for the coming years.

Deathlist Dreaming
Windsor replied to harrymcnallysblueandwhitearmy's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
I had a very odd dream last night. It seemed to be in three parts. The first part is too dodgy to mention on this forum. The second part involved someone lying dead on a table having drowned. We didn't check for a pulse or any conventional way of seeing if he was dead. We decided he was dead because no blood was coming from his open wounds. The third part was essentially someone trying to murder me in my house. My hands were tied behind my back and I was running away from someone. I tried the front door, but it was locked. I tried the backdoor, and that was locked. I then tried to get out of the window, but I couldn't get it open in time because my hands were tied. Unfortunately for the vast majority of deathlisters - that is where the story ends. I woke up before I was brutally murdered by the knifeman. I should see a shrink... -
Although virtually unknown in life, Alexandros Grigoropoulos's death was arguably more significant than that of an old, famous actor. No it wasn't.
