Who Do You Think Will Win The Democrat And Republican Nominations?
Windsor replied to Windsor's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Yes, I think she has had it. It is the end for Clinton. Might be worth while pleading to be Obama's running mate. If it turns out that he has any more friends in the 'We Hate White Americans' society, he'll upset someone...lots of people have guns in America. -
It's been a while since I turned yo. That should read "I turned up". Bloody Sunday service indeed! It's not Sunday, it's Monday!

Birthdays, Births, Anniversaries ,etc ...for 2008
Windsor replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Happy Birthday footballfan and TLC. I hope you didn't want to do anything special on your birthday. Being May Day, you are not allowed as everywhere is shut. Inconsiderate bastards. -
May Day. Stagecoach, the company with a monopoly in the market in this area, have decided that nobody needs to get to Aberdeen before 10.15am today! Oh but wait! I do! I turned yo for my usual 7.45am bus only to find that the first bus that was going to come would be at 8.59am. I had an appointment at 9.15am. Now I'm going to miss it. Bunch of dickheads.

This would be the same show where Boris admitted that the one time he tried to snort cocaine, he sneezed. Can't even do that properly...

I think this is giving Blair more credit than he is due. Brown is getting the blame for Blair's mess (yes I know Brown was chancellor). It is like the Great Depression. It happened in the Hoover Presidency so the blame tends to stick with him. In reality it was more down to predecessors Harding and Coolidge for failing to see the warning signs. Blair was beginning to lose his grip when he was still in power. Lets not forget that the Scottish Parliament fell into the hands of the SNP when he was still in office. Blair got out at the right time, and Brown took over at a less favourable time. I think what Brown needs is a decent Alistair Campbell. Tony Blair would have spun his way out of the 10p tax rate in a jiffy. Not Brown. As for the problem with New Labour, they have too many professional politicians. They haven't had much experience of the real world.

LG, did you know you can get injections for hayfever? I only found that out yesterday. I don't have hayfever, but aparently my friend does and he gets injections for it. 109 posts eh? Just confirms what we all knew - I'm a moaning bastard.

Alex Salmond will be loving this. Part of his strategy for independence. When the Tories come to power in 2010, he will point out that the Scots did not vote for a Tory government. He will then claim that the UK parliament cannot represent Scotland. Furthermore, Cameron will solve the West Lothian question by barring Scottish MPs from voting on English only matters. In effect we will have a Scottish Parliament and an English Parliament. What is the point in having an incorporating Union if the two major Kingdoms have a separate Parliaments? This is the end for the United Kingdom as we know it. The country will either cease to exist, or exist only as a Federal State. (Or I could be looking too much into it).

Boris is ahead in the London polls. Probably not a bad thing for Brown.
-
It could be worse, you could live somewhere Alex Salmond is the (supposed if somewhat self-anoited) leader of.. Oh.. sorry He is taking a day off from First Minister's questions with a sore tummy. Too much pies? Personally, I'm hoping it's stomach cancer.
-
I agree. Perhaps he should be Prime Minister since he has all the right answers...
-
There are rumours that Boris Johnson has won in London. Tory souces were claiming the win last night - before they even started counting votes. Thank god I don't live in London. Still, at least it will be a good laugh for everyone else...

He'll still be alive this time next year...

Albert Hofmann is the 7th success of 2008. He is the 167th hit since 1987. The DL is now in 14th place shared with 1996 out of a possible 22 lists. Not bad considering we are only entering the 5th month of the year.

My vote goes to the Rev. Billy Graham (again).

Essays that keep you up until this time in the morning. I have to be up for half six.

Naturally I blame this man: If he had kept his fat mouth shut instead of making people panic (by telling them not too), people probably would not have started panic buying until a couple of days later.

I bought my sister's wedding present today. Need I say more? regards Windsor the 'almost bankrupt' Troll.

Hello LD, Very sorry to hear of your sad bereavement.

People have the nerve to call us sick for our interest in death, yet the Catholic church get off with this? Mind you, if you looked that good aged 121, you'd flaunt it. He doesn't look a day over 81...

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2008
Windsor replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Spend your final days decorating your box. Which will then be buried in a 6ft hole in the ground.... -
If I'm not mistaken, this one (of their two hits) would not have been famous enough for the DL. Thus the DL are at an unfair disadvantage (but who cares - we are winning). Christodoulos got a BBC obit, so it would have counted. Don Wittman, however, would not have, since it didn't even qualify for the looser DDP standards. But then again, they don't list him as "dead"... Yes, but as far as we are concerned he was only famous in our sphere because of his illness. Were it not for his terminal ilness and young age, most of us would not have heard of him.

Mainly because there is a distance of 42 miles to be covered and it is the best option open to me as: 1: The railway line from Fraserburgh to Aberdeen was put out of service in the 1960s. 2: It is too far to walk. 3: I can't drive, it is expensive to learn, and expensive to maintain a car these days. 4: I don't know anyone to car-share with. 5: There is a shortage of accomodation in Aberdeen, and if I did find somewhere my savings would disappear and I'd have to work more than I already do. Thus I will have to continue travelling by bus. Get a bike - I know of one in Fraserburgh. Haha. Let me assure you, there is more than one in Fraserburgh. Most of them are out shagging on the Saturday, and doing their Virgin Mary impersonation on the Sunday. Anyway, you will have to PM me with your mother's name. I may know of her.
