Abba Drummer Personally I've never heard of him but that means nothing. He is however a dead drummer, and I know how important they are to this forum. His throat was cut.

Two things today. I was standing in line to buy a bottle of my beloved Lucozade at the small canteen. As usual there was a massive line of coffee drinking, stuck up swines (ie real students). Anyway, after about ten minutes in this line, the girl in front of me made her order. She ordered hot water. Hot water? Yes. Hot water. A cup of hot water - to drink. Cost her 40p. Thus in future, instead of buying bottled water at £1 a go, I'm going to buy some 'hot water' and leave it to cool down. Hot water? Bring in a flask darling. (You are speaking to someone who has used the same bottle for water for a number of months - we have drinking water from a tap in my house). As glad as I am to get that off my chest, I must move on to item number two. I live in Fraserburgh, and I take the bus into Aberdeen every morning. Most of the time I manage this simple task without complaint or issue. Somedays, however, you end up with some right w**nkers. I don't have a problem with people listening to music on their iPod or MP3 players (or any other modern device) so longs as they use some form of ear phones. There was an occassion last week where one individual chose not to abide by the unwritten rule. He was playing music (if you could call it that) from his mobile phone. It was that dance music which consists of hashed up music with lyrics sung by something that sounds like a demented chipmunk. After that, we were treated to clublands version of Loch Lomand. I have no idea why these people think they have the right to play this very annoying music in a confined space they have to share with other people. It is completely selfish. I was, however, informed this morning (by lugging in to another conversation) that these wee ned bastards feel that they are entitled to play thier shite music on busses because they paid the same as I did for a ticket. Am I being unreasonable here?

Who Do You Think Will Win The Democrat And Republican Nominations?

Devon, The New York Times is only one of the most liberal news papers ever. Even as I know you felt it was an optimistic article at some level, you can't be surprised reading this when you see where it comes from. I actually think it's pretty funny how they are trying to persuade people with these 'statistics' but another source has a completely different mindset. This article explains McCain is not only fit enough for an eight year run but it states he will have five comfortable years of retirement. Overall that would give his life span another 13. 1 years - experts claim. http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/worl...icle3511861.ece 'The man is an antique' but I doubt he will be put on the shelf any time soon. I read somewhere that on bad days he has trouble putting on his own pants and combing his own hair. But that was mainly due to war wounds. Whether liberal or not, the man has had cancer and there is a chance it could return. -
In this day in age some people really don't think Banshees Scream should have a place on this earth ... That's just their opinion.

Everyone is related to everyone if you go back about 2000 generations Or if you visit New Pitsligo. Or Devizes. Indeed, everybody is related to everybody in New Pitsligo. As for everybody being realted to everyone else, we can measure this by the amount to people who claim to have a connection to Charlemagne. There are a good few people in the geneaology circles claiming descent from him. I'm about 42/43 generations down from him. Being related to everybody does have a downside. I was horrified to find that Princess Diana was one of my very distant cousins. Anyway. The Duke of Edinburgh is is great health for his age but at 87 he can't have that much more left in him. I think he will be dead by 90 though. Just a hunch.

That's wrong - an 80 year old is statistically much more likely to reach 81 that a 100 year old is to get to 101. I think. Not sure you're in any position to take the moral highground on not signing in, Windsor http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...st&p=108876 George Melly and Albert Hofmann from last years list may disagree. It depends on the people at hand. Our sample population regards celebrities. People who are generally well off. I think that the proportions are more or less equal. Albert Hofmann lives on but the comparatively young Francis Pyms dies. At least in my guest posts, you know who I am. Unlike you sniping bastards who are with us one minute then anonymous the next.

Francis Pym is the third success of 2008. He is the 163rd hit since 1987. The 2008 list is now in 17th place shared with 1989 and 1990 out of a possible 22 lists. That's all for now...

Who Do You Think Will Win The Democrat And Republican Nominations?

There is much to be desperate about. Do you really want your country to be run by a man who's campaign is based on only one word (change). It is change this, change that, change the next thing. If you don't like your mother-in-law don't worry, we'll change that too. He has done as Scotland's great leader has done, and promised the world to the people. Something he can't deliver. Then again, that's politics. -
Let me assure you, through all that I was clapping with a false smile. Just in case the camera turned to my direction...

waffle Hmm, it could be another incentive for these ancient coffin-dodgers to plug on; get a telegram from Her Maj AND escape the DL's clutches for ever. At least sign in if you are going to insult me.

A 100 year old has the same chance as dying in a year than an 80 year old. Look at Brooke Astor. That old bugger kept going until she was 105. Also, if the 100 rule were in force, the DL would have missed out on the deaths of the Queen Mother and Bob Hope. I think the existing rule is fine. If your claim to fame is being 100 or over, you should be off. World War One veterans for example. They are only famous because they have managed to outlive 99.9% of all WW1 veterans.

Calls for the enquiry to be halted/scrapped. Lord Foulkes of Cumnock: "It's a total waste of time and money. The extraordinary performance of Fayed has turned the whole thing into a circus". Who couldn't have predicted that before the £6m was spent? Al Fayed is probably banking on the inquiry being halted. He knows his theory has been destroyed in the Court room. If the enquiry is halted, he can at least claim that it was done so as part of a wider conspiracy and coverup brought on by the Duke of Edinburgh and MI6...

Read Any Good Books Lately?

I read this, which made me laugh. I didn't know Banshees was into journalism. -
Not being Politically Correct, and being a Nazi are two entirely different things. Just like being an ex-father-in-law does not make you a murderer.
-
"Diana told me on the telephone that she was pregnant," he told the inquest. "I was the only person that they told." End the farce now. That is the long answer for, "I have no evidence whatsoever". As for sending Philip back to Greece, it may be worth while sending Al Fayed back to Egypt or whichever shitewhole he crawled out of. As for him being a Nazi, need we remind the silly old man who the Duke fought for during the war.

As far as Russians are concerned you want oligarchs, journalists and notable Chechnyans. The next President also wouldn't be a bad bet. When Putin becomes Prime Minister, he would be the successor to the interim Presidency should anything happen to the new President. He would also be enabled to run for Presidency in the new elections given that there was a break (albeit a short one) between the his two consecutive terms in office and his new stint as President.

I wouldn't say that it is over yet. If she loses Texas then yes, she is screwed. I can't see that happening. Incidently, if it is a Obama and McCain battle for the presidency, this next Presidency should be cursed. On the two occassions where two senators have battled for the presidency, the winner has died in office. The first was Warren Harding in 1923,and the second John Kennedy in 1963. McCain - OAP -stroke half way through his term? (How ageist of me). Obama - gun bait in Texas? (How racist of me).
