Who Do You Think Will Win The Democrat And Republican Nominations?
Windsor replied to Windsor's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
When was the last time you looked at the change in your pocket? "In God we Trust". I'm guessing that people of other faiths have to use that money knowing which God it is hinting at. (Clutching at straws, I know). -
We are speaking about a man who stole $30billion from his own needy population. What's a few more bags of blood...

Who Do You Think Will Win The Democrat And Republican Nominations?

Being a mormon is bad if you are looking to become US president. Doesn't win you an awful lot of votes does it? I think someone is suffering from sand in their vagina... I said Huckabee was in the 'God Squad'. How is that less worse than what I said about Romney? After 1963 perhaps. The 1960 election was very close indeed. I daresay that those few bought votes came in very handy in securing key electoral college votes. I fail to se your argument an way. Are you suggesting that if Joseph did partake in a wee bit of electoral fraud, it is OK because the president was regarded 'popular'? -

Let me recap what I actually said. I said that Obama would suffer for being black. Clinton for being a woman. McCain for his age. Romney for being a mormon. Huchabee for his 'religious excitment'. Why did you zoom in on Romney? Are my other claims justified? Also, these are not my personal views, but the problems I can see the American voter having with the candidates. deadsox, didn't Joseph Kennedy buy the 1960 election for his son? Picked up a few extra votes for him in certain states? I was told this a few years ago by an Irish Catholic teacher (just incase you think I'm having a stab at the Catholics now). -
The female celebritiy. Criticised for injecting chemicals in to her face, and having plastic surgery. Criticised for growing old gracefully. Is there any middle ground?

Now he is being treated for a Lung Infection. Not having much luck, is he?
-
Excellent. Surprised he was a unique pick.

Suharto
-
My vote goes to Suharto - hopefully tomorrow.

Sir Edmund Hillary (two ls) is the 1st success of 2008. He is the 161st death since 1987. The 2008 list is now in 19th place shared with 1987 out of 22 lists. Lets hope Suharto doesn't hang about.

The last console I owned was a Playstation 1. Says alot about my street cred. (And I still prefered the megadrive).

'Near death' with 'little hope'. Remind anyone else of another world leader who became dependent on machines in early January a couple of years ago...

There is nothing inherently wrong with being a mormon. You can have a wife to do the cleaning, another to do the cooking and another for the bedroom. Absolutely nothing wrong with being a mormon. Quite frankly, accusing me of being a bigot whilst defending the mormon church is a bit rich. As for the whole war thing, you reaped your benefits. It had less to do with saving us Brits, and more to do with sustaining your economy so please do get off your high horse. I can't remember criticising your state of New Hampshire -only the candidates thrown upon it. -

Indeed, the Republican race is wide open but then their candidates are almost as bad as the Democrat ones. If I'm not mistaken the three front runners in that contest are McCain, Romney and Huckabee. McCain is 71 years old. Romney is a Mormon. Huckabee is in the God squad. McCain is said to be doing well off the back of the recent surge plan in Iraq. That was apparently his idea. I have a feeling that the Democrats first woman or first black nomination will have a difficult time beating white, god-fearing war mongers. Isn't that what it means to be American? -
Birthdays, Births, Anniversaries ,etc ...for 2008

A belated Happy Birthday to Banshees Scream. He must be some special guy as his messages are getting special treatment. He is such a legend. -
So we are not getting a replacement? Ah well. Rules are rules.

I'm surprised there are none called Burberry. Only two Jeremy's as well. I got the impression from mid-morning television that chavs/neds were producing about 75% of all Britain's children.
-
*whispers* They put in Frankie Laine, despite the fact he died last year. He was even on the first post of this years 50! Oh dear. Don't we get a replacement candidate? I thought that the DL top 20 generally went onto the DDP? I'm sure that if you asked nicely, OOO would look down on us with sympathy. Unless it is going to be the official excuse for the DL not winning the DDP...

Welcome back Windsor, we wondered if this list of names given to Scottish babies in 2007 (scroll down to page 67) might have been the reason for your absence . Thanks LG. Windsor junior is not mine. I was pissed off to read that the name 'Alex' became more popular in 2007. Who would name their child after that tub of lard.

Rev. Billy Graham.

Happy New Year.

Why did the DL submit a team of only 19 candidates to the DDP?

Happy Birthday, Banshees Scream. (For the third time tonight). -
I had already submitted my team for 2007, Ford was on it. Doesn't bother me because I got him this year. So now my replacement pick, Bernard Manning, is in the team. I was watching some comedy show over christmas and was regretting leaving him off my list. He looks ready to go. Perhaps it's a sign. Then again, does Jesus perform miracles like this, killing off someone so a better pick can be put on...

You are all wrong. It's Viscount David Linley - princess Margaret's other son. My money was on Lord Frederick Windsor too.
