It could lead to a nightmarish constitutional problem as they can’t actually get rid of her without changing the rules of the 1922 Committee. I suppose in theory they can’t remove her as leader of the Conservative Party but in theory they could remove her as Prime Minister… Personally I think the Queen clocked out just in the nick of time.
