Welcome to the Deathlist Cancer Convention of 2005..... And to think all this stemmed from a common cold.
-
How do they know that thats the youngest. Someone may have died aged 0.5 seconds but didn't bother recording it...
-
I would imagine he goes to google news and types in 'dies'. It works for me, although generally Tempus (127posts in this thread) and Iain (104 posts in this thread) will have posted most of it already.
-
I do think we are looking too much into this: I think that what we have is a man going for a routine check up who happens to have a cold. I doubt its life threatening even given his age.
-
He would have been the perfect candidate for the tory party leader

Might I say that we should never forget the war. It highlights many important points that we can learn from. Whether it be, don't be too harsh in peace (1919), never vote a madman into power (1933), and never allow a hostile state to become too powerful (1933-9). I do disagree with the whole Basil Fawlty way of expressing the war. I do try to make a point (and often fail) that WW2 was against the Nazis and not the Germans. How willingly the German people accepted the Nazis, and therefore helped cause war, is up to the individual to decide.

It was just something I heard that's all. Our Captain Oates is a woman. That much I know. Amusing, that I never could see. Oh well. I suppose the good news for the Captain is that she's not dying.

Surprise, surprise. Another claim with no evidence from iain.

I was liking the idea but then I read this:

Ah yes, Amanda. What ever happened to her.... Anyway, we cannot all be 'intelligent and articulate contributors'. Us humble non-intellects would not dream of stealing your thunder.

Well then you must turn up the heat. Put on gloves, scarves, jackets hats, wear two or three pairs of socks on one foot, buy earmuffs wear layers, start a fire, don't forget to put on your nightcap! Girls will also keep you warm when you cuddle with them, Especialy beautiful girls but you know Windsor if you like overweight chicks that might even keep you warmer. I'll....um....I'll keep that in mind Banshees.

Well this has turned into a major critical analysis over nothing. I've taught you well.

I live in the North East of Scotland, I'm frozen all the time.

Do you suppose that the freezer like conditions preserved his body? Indeed, We may have an Austin Powers situation on our hands.

No but you did not predict one individual to die. I suppose RA the individual that croaked out of your 50 canidates was one who was in critical condition before you made the list? Who was it Rotten Ali - George Best. - Or something like it.. Your not going to let him get away with that insult are you, Ali? FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! -
The King's doctor was obviously fibbing because it was he who put the King down. He administered a lethal injection. A bit like Shipman.

I was always led to believe that William IV died after suffering an asthma attack in the Waterloo Chamber at Windsor. I don't know if he was wearing boots....slippers perhaps.
-
There is of course the Queen. She will most likely never abdicate. My 2006 theory will soon be answered...

Looking at the picture, it looks as though she has failed to recognise the end of the Victorian era.
