I argued with my boss over this today. She thought it was terrible, I thought it was equality. (I should note she is the kind of boss who insists on talking politics with her staff even though history tells us it’s a bad idea). I also argued with a Facebook ‘friend’ (someone I worked with years ago who isn’t a friend but is entertaining to watch) over why she thought the BLM protests should’ve been stopped but defended the right of the women to protest. Just incase you think I’m getting too liberal in my old age, my stance was neither should’ve been permitted given the global pandemic but instead of questioning why the black were allowed, I applaud the police for getting it right this time. Then there was the comparison between Rangers fans and women. In my view they are not comparable because it was the actions of two separate police forces who were answerable to two different executives. At the end of the day it’s probably Meghan Markles fault because she is black and a woman and I’m beginning to think possibly also a Ranger’s Fan...

We now hear that the secret marriage conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury 3 days before the wedding didn’t in fact happen (it was a pre-wedding conversation). We know Prince Charles bailed out Harry when he first went in his attention seeking mission, rather than cut him off financially. We know that their son is not yet entitled to be a HRH or Prince due to a standing order in place since 1917. He didn’t need security as a infant as he should’ve been in the security bubble of his family. We hear that Meghan was offered help but ‘didn’t listen’. We know she knew more about the Royal family and their customs before she married Harry. As for the skin colour thing, when Harry married her do we really believe the Royal Family - as removed as they are from reality - would not have realised at that point that any child of the union would be mixed race? Even the most ardent Republican probably wouldn’t lay that at their door. She’s a cunt. He’s worse.

I note the police are being criticised for being heavy handed in breaking up the Sarah Everard vigil. Personally I think the whole thing is a load of bollocks. While I am sure there will have been genuine ‘survivors’, I noticed most of the noise was coming from women who gave themselves an equal victim status to Sarah Everard because they had been wolf-whistled at on occasion in the street. Sarah Everard was a victim of murder. Not of a Wolf-whistle. Listened to one of them on the news who explained that, as a man, if I see a woman walking on one side of the road in the dark that I should cross to the other side so she doesn’t feel threatened. The same woman said that as a man if I am walking at night I shouldn’t walk bristly as that can cause alarm. Here’s an idea: she can stay inside after dark, the arsehole! Regarding the vigil. I believe all vigils, except for those involving close family, to be an absolute waste of time. They achieve nothing and only serve to allow most of the attendees to draw attention to themselves. There’s no place for them in lockdown.

My upstairs neighbour has informed me that she has had to self-isolate at home (she has only just returned to work after being signed off with stress and anxiety for a month). While the noisy fucker has certainly ‘isolated’ to one extent by not leaving the house, she hasn’t quite mastered the ‘self’ bit as by my counting she has had atleast three visitors (which would be against the law anyway). Not that I mean to cast aspersions, but I’m beginning to think that my upstairs neighbour might be a lazy, shiftless, skiving bastard?

Surprised to find Josef Fritzel is still alive. Now about 86. I remembered he was dead for some reason. might be worth a punt.

I now hear that it was racist for Archie not to receive a title when as the son of a Duke his parents could have styled him with a courtesy title of Earl or Viscount. That was their choice not to. It seems they wanted him to be Prince! You only become a prince by letter patent, the rules for which were written in 1917. Clearly this conspiracy against Meghan and Harry was hatched by that meddlesome King George V whose been dead since 1936! The grandson of a King may be styled Prince, but as they kinda kicked the shit out of Prince Charles in that interview I doubt the new King will be so willing to give them an upgrade. Also, I didn’t realise that Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Viscount Severn and Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor were black. All grandchildren of the Queen, none of them a Prince or Princess.
