The figures I stated are from previous stats.

How about this interesting idea for the scoring system. I noted you have a bit listing dates in which no candidate has died: 29th February 8th October 26th October 30th October 21st December 28th December How about you award an extra point to any team which selects a candidate who dies on those dates? Quite random like the 'party pooper' bonus.

What did you get kicked out for? Unless it's a case of mistaken identity? I had the impression that he was refused admission, rather than kicked out. A subtle distinction. The only excuse they could offer was due to 'recent online postings' without saying which online postings. To my knowledge I have posted nothing which would merit such am extreme course of action, and even if I did, what do they think they are doing monitoring my online activity. Bunch of stalkers. One thing though: I used to be employed by the company that runs the cafe...until they tried to fire me for gross misconduct, failed in that venture, then had to pay me a heap of money to piss off.

    Robert Mugabe

If you're feeling brave I'd put former Vice-President Joyce Mujuru, who was recently removed from high office, on the list. Don't these types have a fairly good chance of being involved in car accidents/accidentally chopping their heads off while shaving?

They used to do it all the time for the Chancellor's birthday in the 1940s... I'll get my coat.

Trying to meet a friend in a cafe, but being informed you're not welcome, and being escorted from the building. I'm just too controversial me...

    Political Frailty

Sir Albert McQuarrie is still alive? I'll have to stick him on one of my lists as he was the last Conservative MP for my constituency before Alex Salmond took it from him in 1987.

    Political Frailty

Diplomat and former Labour MP John Freeman MBE has died at the age of 99. One of the easy pickings of my 2015 DDP theme team...

    Nancy Reagan

I can't be bothered Googling, so how long does she have to last to beat Bess Truman and Lady Bird Johnson? You can see here by sorting the first ladies by longevity, in short she has to live about another year to surpass Lady Bird Johnson and about four years to surpass Bess Truman: http://en.wikipedia....e_United_States Somewhere around 20 June 2018 Nancy tops the lot, if anyone can be arsed to adjust for leap years we could nail this exactly. I think Bess Truman's record is safe. I get the impression that Nancy is unlikely to beat Lady Bird Johnson's longevity .

Who Should Be On The 2015 Deathlist?

I'm putting both Popes on my top 50 too: Although Benedict XVI is said to be improving in health, I saw footage of his meeting with Francis where he stumbled - luckily there was a chair behind him. As for Francis, he isn't very security conscious and has recently sacked his chief of security due to his strict and disciplinarian ways. I'd put him on as a wildcard, because, to be quite frank, he is asking for trouble. A last Catholic possibility...you don't hear much from Cardinal Keith O' Brien these days...

    A Famous Belgian

She was originally Spanish...so it would appear that the most famous Belgians aren't even Belgians.

So, How's Your 2015 Shortlist Looking?

Given my poor performance this year I'm stuffing my top 50 with the older crowd. Still all legitimately famous though, so not as low hanging as some nobody whose family are toying with switching off their life support machine which will definitely be covered by the Daily Mail because they are third cousins once removed to some TOWIE celebrity whose only claim to fame in the last 6 months was that the DM were able to long-lens her cellulite whilst she was showing off her 'so-called' bikini body in Ibiza whilst allegedly indulging in wild sex parties...which means publishing an obit for the original nobody gives the DM an excuse to publish the cellulite pictures again.

Who Should Be On The 2015 Deathlist?

I think the Earl of Snowdon is an ideal DL candidate. Not much info on his current health but I have read that he is wheelchair bound. Considering what the party lifestyle did to Princess Margaret, you've got to expect it must be catching up with him too. Another ideal one for DL would be Sir Sean Connery. He'll be 85 next year which, for a Scotsman, is like...reaching your 100th birthday.

I am not sure what you'd call a person living at that time but the late Victorian Era is called the Gilded Age in America. (In France it is called the Belle Epoque or Fin-de-Siecle.) They sound shite. They're Victorians. Period. That use of the word 'period', unless coming from an American, should be banned. You mean full-stop! I was trying to be ironic. I think.

What do you call and American Victorian person? Edit: If only Joan Rivers had lived a bit longer, I could've had a half decent joke.

    Scottish Independence

To bring this topic in line with the purpose of the forum, it may be worth remembering that: 1) Alex Salmond is grossly overweight and will be 60 in December. 2) His wife Moira is 17 years older than him meaning she is 77 on her next birthday. 3) His father Robert Salmond will be 94 on his next birthday: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-28158107 Just saying...

Could be interesting to watch the SNP fall apart under Sturgeon. I noted Salmond was giving an interview to the BBC regarding possible coalition partners even though he was no longer leader of the party...

    Scottish Independence

Don't forget that the last time the SNP held the balance of power they handed the keys to Downing Street to Margaret Thatcher. The best political move the party ever made, as they are inherently selfish...
