Clive's NOT Dunn

I got thrown out of a Kiwi church once. I'm not a religious person but thought I'd show willing, donate a cent or two and light a candle. I was very respectful and was observing the large sign requesting "Absolute Silence in this area. Please." Unfortunately when placing my candle on the back of the rack I underestimated the heat from the burning candles at the front. There proceeded a loud crackling sound as I managed to singe all the hairs on my forearm. Whilst not being in the least painful it did produce a foul smell. Unfortunately my companion and I found this hysterically funny. Our schoolgirl type giggling however didn't seem top be appreciated and we were escorted from the premises.

Is that a tribute band?

Not entirley true, I recognised him in a street in Amsterdam about 5 years ago, although it actually turned out to be Vince Clarke.

My friend's Dad is famous. He was in the SOE and then MI6. I can't tell you his name or I would have to kill you.

Not wrong there, in the later episodes John the Tapemeasure having given up his daily G + T on Doctors advice atually looked 100 times worse. So refering to my second question does this make Dunny the longest surviving former number 1?

Maybe he isnt going to remove the DL rather prevent people dying. Maybe its Aubrey de Grey again!

I got recognised by some bloke in the pub the other day who I played footy against back in the late 80's. Does that make me famous?

Howdy folks, Apologies firstly (I'm sure this has been discussed already) but as a newbie to the site I couldn't help but notice that Clive Dunn "deathlist favourite" didn't make the list in 2005. Whilst trying to find a thread under the search facility I was intrigued to note that as far back as 1987 he was number 1 and featured strongly in the 1990's. Recently he hasn't lived up to his billing only making 32nd place in 2000 and 50th last year! Couple of questions: Is it now assumed he has made a pack with Lucifer aka the U-boat captain and has achieved immortality? Is this an unusual pattern ie number 1 nigh on 18 years previously to current "off lister"? Great forum BTW
