By the way, sighting that made me think of this thread was Barry Humphries. Saw him yesterdayand today and he looked very well. 72 won't be going anywhere for a while. -

What do you mean left-brained? I genuinely don't know what you mean? -
Who's Going To Be Around For A While?
millwall32 replied to Banshees Scream's topic in DeathList Forum
I want to start up this new thread to list people who, despite old -age/ past health concerns etc, should not appear on either the deathlist proper or the possible contenders for 2007 thread. Any evidence that a possibe contender is in good health and nowhere near ready for our consideration can be posted here. I open this thread mostly to take the pressure off the possible contenders thread and to make our predictions and debates about who will die more accurate. I don't enjoy hearing about possible contenders being in good health, rather I hope that the info here will take us closer to a 100% success rate. Think of this, through the twisted prism of the logic of deathlist, as place to post bad news about possible contenders. 4 rules (I am of course aware that this is deathlist and rules are made to be debated, criticised, and broken). 1- No debates about whether someone is healthy or not. Just post, for example, " Saw year old Eric Sykes in the supermarket yesterday. Despite being 83, he looked great and was boasting about his recent all-clear from the doctor", and move on. We don't want to get into the sort of nonsense we have had with Alex Higgins, Pete Docherty etc. "He's dying", "No he's not" , "Yes he is"..... 2- They must be at least contenders for the list. for this purpose I will say those who are 70+ and/or have a history of major illness, chemical addiction & c. 3- No info about people who already have threads devoted to them. It will take up too much space, waste time, and.....you can post in the threads already devoted to them. 4 You must have evidence that they are in good nick. This can be an actual sighting ( i ralise this favours those such as myself who live in celeb heavy areas such as central London), a media report, or "insider knowledge". I realise that all deathlisters worthy of the name will feel a tang of resentment at ahving to post good news about the health of others but I hope I have made the purpose of doing so clear. -
Since when Cowboy Ronnie is that against the rules? And a brillient view on the Near - Misses idea. Surely somebody will pass away. I guess Iain can't go then? He said it himself. No word just yet. Good point BS. Who says you can't kill them yourself in order to up our success rate.

Apologies for not answering your question. No, he does not smoke anymore.

Older and, by the llok of hmi I caught last week, a touch frailer than his colleague in the rythym section. But as I say, neither will be going soon.

Which Arndale centre?

I've had similarly frustrated urges myself but never folloed through on them. Someone will die, promise. In the meanwhile I do like the grand, formal language, "Resigning" from deathlist. Worthy of DLT himself.

Where Has Tempus, Godot, Everybody, Anybody Gone?
millwall32 replied to Windsor's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Forget it, even if he is there he won't answer. It's been attempted. Maybe he just got bored then. -
I f George Martin counts as a Beatle then I would back him. Of the two fully-fledged Beatles alive I wouyld suggest (from a tiny bit of social interaction with both) that Ringo will go before Paul....but not for years yet.

I hope he's well. Has anyone sent him a personal message? In fact i will do it myself. -
What are you talkiing about Snoop?

Sounds like a separate thread to me. Crackin' anagram though. Since my name is a bit short can I cheat a bit and use "milwall thirty-two"? I'm very bad at making anagrams.

He looked pretty ragged in the World Championship tournament. According to this article, he was in quite a bit of pain and almost withdrew from it. Australia's Robertson overcomes stricken Hunter Let's br frank. He played like sh*t. He played like Alex Higgins would if he were sober. Sorry Milwall, I disagree. To be able to play snooker at all after chemotherapy takes some doing. If I were him, I would have lost 10-0 on purpose just so I didn't have to go through to round 2. He displayed balls (or should I say ball, methinks one has been removed ) I had no idea you took snooker so seriously. Would you like to meet in FLYORDIE some time for a few frames?

I thought he had a valid point. Was the clip supposed to be funny? I didn't find anything remotely funny about it. Like Amanda Redman said, sitting beside him, Waterman isn't small and doesn't speak in a high voice. In his whole career he only actually sang 2 theme songs (I think!) so the gag is a lame one to start off with anyway. Then again, I might be the only person in the whole country (apart from the fellow DLister in another thread) that doesn't find Little Britain funny. And how the F**k does someone look cardiovascular? No debate about it . Litttle Britain isn't funny.

RE: Jo O'Boye Saw him in Leicester just the other day and he looke like a serious alcoholic who had just sh*t hias trousers. Would be a solid bet for 2007 but I suspect that only you, me and those who have been in his mini-cab have heard of him.

I voted for Biggs, hope over experience etc. Like that surge of votes for Haughey though. I think it will be a slow year and we could do with another death before the summer.

Most Obsessive Deathlisters
millwall32 replied to Gunjaman5000's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
What if they are, in the parlance of our times, tooled up. I.E. they bring along their musketts and blunderbusses or whatever we fought WWI with. (I of course mean "we" not we). -

I know that it is not one of the big ones, i.e. it is not divisible by 500, but I was very pleased to reach 700 this morning. Seem to have gone form being one of the original "post-whores" to being a two-a-day-average person. But there it is. -
My own bet would be for Barret.

Was reported by the Mail onSaturday, my girlfriends reading of choice not mine, to be suffering from a bad heart and temporary blindness. Had to cancel his recent tour as a result. Good candidate for 2007?
