I'll have to pull you up on that, Mary! Dicky was in Carry On Teacher & I defy you to tell me that the Carry On's were relentlessly dire & only appealed to the mentally challenged & terminally unambitious? Terminally unambitious? I'll wager you hear those two words quite frequently, being a Carlisle United fan? Goes back to the point I have made in this thread several times. Richard has been in good films, T.V. shows etc. But where has he himself ever been any good?

Why do you think that Lesbians live longer?

Could we drag this thread back to matters relating Dickie O?

    Sven-Göran Eriksson

There seems, as with Charles kennedy a few weeks ago, to be no reason to scak Sven other than resentment from his colleagues that he was doing a good job while not ingratiating them.

    Actor James Booth Dies

That may be one of the best thread revivals ever.

    The William Shatner Forum

It is a genuinely great album from a great performer. Here is a link to one of Shatner's great moments. Note the introduction from Bernie Taupin.

    Brinsworth House and Denville Hall

One particularly notable absintee from the merry goings on. Are we to assume that a certain Bh resident occasionally mentioned on this website felt he had no particular talent to bring to the cabaret?

Is there anything scurulous and/or innacurate here King Dickie?

    Keith Floyd

I agree. So many of the TV chefs today cannot actually cook. Jamie Oliver who recently did a series in Italy in which every dish he prepared had to be corrected by the locals being a good example. In all the series Flloyd made he actually did some research on the area and as a result did not have to be advised on the basics of seasoning and preperation. Flloyd will live for years yet.

dickie o is a great actor, better than brando by a long shot ! How exaclty did you work that out? What Dickie O performance ranks with Brando's in the Godfather, On The Waterfront, or Reflections in A Golden Eye? Dick is a gent, Brando was a fat pillock no more. I therefore have to say much the same thing about "del torso" too.

I think his resemblance to Prince Charles has been commented on before, can't be bothered to go back through the hundreds of posts in this thread though.

No need to be defensive MPFC. They are clearly jealous of the popularity of this thread. It is hugley popular and has only had tiny diversions in its 600 odd posts. Incidently these complaints about the thereads appear to have begun in the last few weeks.

    Upping The Ante

I voted "Brimley You Are A genius" although it would be fair to say that I don't agree with the exact wording. 52 sounds like a good idea to me.

R O'S may well have had a massive stroke (best wishes for a spedy recovery and all that) but he does have a history of alcoholism and depression too.
