    Edward Heath

I'll take that bet provided we can make it a year from today.
  2. millwall32

    Buster Bloodvessel

As with some others that have come up outside the actual DL recently I have to say that Buster is someone I might reluctantly include as an outside shot. But does he have any actual medical problems outside of being overweight?

    Ian Paisley

Did't some king die of a surfeit of lampreys? Think he fell in a barrell or something.
  4. millwall32

    Edward Heath

    Give it a few weeks.........
  5. millwall32

    Diego Maradona

Shoukld stay on but I would be seriously surprised if we kept him on next year.

    Maharishi Mahesh Yogi

What's Mark Chapman up to these days? I know that there was a very strong possibility of his getting some sort of parole earlier this year and that ("I-I-EEEE-iii-OO-IIIII-I OO-ee. Do you like the way I sing") Yoko went to the court personally to protest against him. Suspect that Chapman has a reasonable chance since a) The American authorities probably don't consider chooting Lennon to be much of a crime. (I of course could not possibly comment) He has shown remorse and good behaviour since he has been inside

    Ernest Borgnine

Without consulting IMDB , I think he played Tova in the Lew Grade/ Robert Powell version of the life and death of our Lord. Whatever, I feel he is a definite contender for DL 2006.

    Margaret Thatcher

In seriousness...I would have thought that she is notb a strong contender for DL 2006 due to the fact that she is suffering ( only currently I might add) from predominantly mental rather than physical problems. She should hang around for years yet.

    Margaret Thatcher

Probably. After all she has had two boosts this year - the death of Callaghan and the death of Heath. And possibly a boost in her personal finances due to the departure of "Dear Dennis".

    Ian Paisley

I think you'll find Ian has no problem with Christ or the Devil. Protestantism recognises Jesus Christ as the son of God in line with all Christian sects. The European Institute of Protestant Studies recognises the Devil as the leader of the Catholic Church. Why not have a look here Ian's Web Page to be better informed on how those pesky Romans are out to get you. If you actually read the psot i was replying to you will see what thye Jackal and i were talking about. Obviously Paisley beleives in both Christ and the Devil. I am saying that I doubt, based on the admitedly flimsy evidence of previous correspondance, that The Jackal beleives in them. Either way I for one hope Paisley has a ggod few years of obduracy in him yet.

    Ernest Borgnine

Maybe this poster is thinking of the salsa albums of Robert Mitchum, or the easy listening albums of Jackie Gleason. Either way I think that Borgnine is a good choice for DL 2006 at the expense of, say, Diego Maraddona.

    Are You Being Served?

A friend of my family, sorry I have forgotten the name, is still with us . He was in the show for the very first season but always complained that "that bastard" Arthur English took his job.

    Ernest Borgnine

    Albums?????
  14. millwall32

    Ian Paisley

No, for that would mean accepting thye existence of both Christ and the devil. However I do admire Paisley as one of the politicians who does not go out hof gis way to be ingratiating.
  15. millwall32

    Edward Heath

We all make mistakes. His posthoumos reputation will take a bit of a battering, especially since the 30 year rule is graudually bringing all the documents of his time in gvt into the public domain and historians are starting to look at them . Still contend he will be missed though.

    Frankie Laine

Does anyone know if Stella (as in "Stella's husband Frank") is still with us? Can anyone tell me why I know the age of Frankie Lane's wife when I am 65 years younger than him. I am currently on holiday I thiunk I will go and hit the beach. (Except just had a thought- What is the state of Andy Williams' health?)

    Paul Scofield

    How's Paul Scofield (b.1922) for a 2006 contender?
  18. millwall32

    Joe Longthorne

Millwall? Ta-ra-ra-boom-dee-ay! What are you talking about????
  19. millwall32

    Diego Maradona

Am in Italy today and the newspaper a story aboutb him making a personal appearence at Napoli , and I do have to say the photograph shows him to be in very good nick. I definetly say a wasted spot on DL 2005.
  20. millwall32

    Ian Paisley

Have just added a post to the Joe Longthrone thread hoping he makes it through and have to say the same here. Agree with Paisley or not you do have to say that he is one of the few politicians who tells the truth. Again I hope and not too soon.
  21. millwall32

    Joe Longthorne

He is actually a very talented performer. Hope he makes it. Think rahther than .

    Edward Heath

I'll happily eat my words if I'm proved wrong. I still can't understand why nothing has ever appeared in the papers. It's all just hearsay and innuendo at the moment. Do other Deathlisters think we should consider them to both be in "Schrödinger’s Closet" or are the allegations "Not proven" in the Scottish parlance? I suspect that there are very few reasons to out Moore in the press. Think how seldom people have been outed while alive despite the best efforts of Thatchell and co. Interesting too that Moore fits very closely with the media image of Heath- slightly grumpy, lives near the coast, loves music, good war record, very close to his mother, never married etc. But please don't get me wrong I do not want to be one of those posters who appears obbsessed with the sexual proclivities of those on DL. I don't think it makes any actual difference. Only interesting from the point of view of these things only coming out after someone has died. The basic fact os that the man is definetly a great astronomer. Still lets hope he to bring up the numbers.

    Eli Wallach

What the hell do you mean "only 90". And, making films is no guarantee you are not going to croak it. Peolple can die while making a film (Roy Kinnear or Oliver Reed say) or immediately after making a film (Richard Harris). Wallach is a soild bet for 2006 especially when you consider that contemporaries of his such as Brando and Kazzan have gone in recent years. Let alone the fact that he has more than seen out his three score years and ten.
  24. millwall32

    Paul Scofield

    That's nice.

    Ideas and Possibilities for 2006

Remember him being on television a few years ago demonstrating what he looked like without his dentures in. I do know that he is suffering from depression, breathing problems, diabetes, alcoholism. obesity, and only having access to Scotish food. I think a good contender for 2006.
