That's true. A great simplifier of very complicated ideas.

What can I say. Met her, didn't like her. She sat eating muesli from a tupperware container and talking about the sacrifices of performing.

    Edward Heath

Who though? Which your not going to answer, probably because your post was bullsh1t. Definetly was not. Regarding the name I can't say, know that he died in the early 90' s though. (Are we in any legal danger posting stuff this explicit on the net. Pardon the temporary loss of nerve).

I was actually refering to your avatar, as seen on BBC news website. Think she looks about 60. Undoubtedly the mind is gone but the body, unnatractive though the thought is, could live on for years.

    Ronnie Biggs

Weird Karma that he got out of Brazil safely and is currently being treated at the taxpayers expense when you consider what happened to that poor sod outside Stockwell tube.

    Ernest Borgnine

Sorry, no , he's only 66 with no major health probs.

Don't know who the other surviving action hero is but Lee majors must be a good age by now.

88 years old, overweight, history of depression, still takes part in action movies that would surely test even a younger man's health. Very possible I would say.

    Richard O'Sullivan

I do remember him in a St Ettienne video a few (probably about 10!) years ago and he was at least recognisable. However a quick walk past the rest-home, or whatever it is didn't reveal much.

Looked very shaky on his feet during PMQ's a few weeks ago

I must confess to finding Claire very attractive . I think it is wrong to assume that because someone has a boyish haircut that they must be a lesbian. Also why is premature death so common in the world of Horseracing?

Elaine Strich is a horrible, horrible woman.

Built from tough stuff and not going to die any time soon. Would also say that he is a far betterchef than most of those on telly at the moment.

Ronnie Barker? Tarby? Kenny Lynch? One of the Charlton brothers? Henry Blofeld?

    Margaret Thatcher

Thought she looked very healthy at the funeral. staedy on her feet, supressing the grin she was entitled to , and even stopping for a chat with the vicar. I don't think she will be going any time soon. Parents died young but the only risk factors in her life are very occasional smoking and the odd "whiskey indulgence"

    Edward Heath

Thatcher looked to be in rude good health at Heath's funeral yesterday. I think its also fair to assume that she got an energy boost (and possibly a pension boost) from Dennis' passing.

Ah but.....Ted was not one for a positive PR spin. I think he was almost defying the press to out him. Also he was such a private (grumpy?) man that even a professional beard would have got fed up with him. And then you would have an even bigger scandal "Former PM divorces".

Give it a few months and he will definetly be posthoumously outed. I do know that he spent a number of years living with a male opera singer and that a great deal of the hostility felt toward him by Thatcher's Ministers was homophobically motivated. I think only his extreme grumpiness and the threat of litigation kept prying journalists away while he was alive. "A LONG TERM BACHELOR" "NEVER SETTLED DOWN" "A FEW UNSUCESSFULL RELATIONSHIPS WITH WOMEN" "SACRIFICED FAMILY LIFE IN FAVOUR OF HIS CAREER" etc, etc. The discreet euphamisms won't be used now that he is in the great sailboat in the sky
