I'll say one thing for Cardinal Romeo, he evidently isn't overly concerned with his career prospects.

    I agree.

    Richard O'Sullivan

I found myself re-reading the first few pages of this thread and it felt like re-reading the start of great novel. Let's hope that we get some kind of hard news on Dickie soon. I wonder why, out of all the people whose death we have disscussed, this one generated so much reaction?

    Zsa Zsa Gabor

Her sisters died in their seventies and eighties though. I'm going to slightly go back on what I said above.I think she's a semi-solid bet for this year. 5/1 'ish. She'll probably be very determined to hit 100 for posterity's sake though.

    Clive Dunn

I got that. Since I started using this forum again a few days ago I remembered how seriously I take the main list, how much I want us to get as many names "right" as possible, and how much I want to congratulate all my fellow deathlisters when someone goes.(In my mind's eye we are all slapping each other on the back and shaking hands like we work at NASA and we've just heard that the probe landed or something) In a way I regard Clive Dunn as a bit of a spoilt ballot because he shows no sign of dying soon. But I see the poin of having him there for jokey, sentimental reasons I suppose.

I've been off this forum for ages and it's good to see Clive Dunn still on the list.

    Macaulay Culkin

Yes looking frail but I know from past experience that a sinlge photo of someone looking frail isn't enough. Could be taken from a bad angle, doctored photo for sensationalist purposes etc.If they're not even speculating about him being ill there's almost certainly nothing in it.Probably just gone low-carb or something.

    Patrick Macnee

I'm "glad" (strictly in the context of deathlist you understand) to hear that because when I saw his name on the main lost my first thought was that he's probably as healthy as you can get in your eighties and almost counted as a sort of spoilt ballot on the list.

    Yep.Good joke.

    Zsa Zsa Gabor

If that's Zsa Zsa in the photo at the bottom then I'm in two minds about the likelihood of her dying soon. She doesn't exactly look healthy but for a woman of about 95 who has recently been in a coma she looks pretty good. As so often with these things the NNDB is a great source. I particularly like the list of risk factors. "Born: 6-Feb-1917 Birthplace: Budapest, Hungary Gender: Female Religion: Roman Catholic [1] Race or Ethnicity: White Sexual orientation: Straight Occupation: Actor Nationality: United States Executive summary: Cop-slapping Gabor sister Father: Vilmos Gabor (Hungarian soldier) Mother: Jansci Tilleman ("Jolie", b. 29-Sep-1894, d. 1-Apr-1997 cardiac arrest) Father: Edmund de Szigethy (Hungarian Count, stepfather, married Jolie) Sister: Eva Gabor (actress, b. 1919, d. 1995) Sister: Magda Gabor (actress, b. 1914, d. 1997) Slept with: Porfirio Rubirosa (Dominican diplomat, b. 1909, d. 1965) Boyfriend: Rafael Trujillo ("Ramfis", son of Dominican dictator Rafael Leónidas Trujillo) Boyfriend: Hal Hays (building contractor, briefly engaged) Husband: Burhan Belge (Turkish diplomat, b. 1899, m. 1937, div. 1941, d. 1967) Husband: Conrad Hilton (hotel founder, m. 10-Apr-1942, div. 1947, one daughter) Daughter: Francesca Hilton (heiress, b. 10-Mar-1947) Husband: George Sanders (actor, m. 1-Apr-1949, div. 1954, later married Zsa Zsa's sister Magda) Husband: Herbert Hunter (financial consultant, m. 9-Nov-1964, div. 1966) Husband: Joshua S. Ideas And Possibilities For 2013

Link above doesn't seem to work. here's one that does though In another "Brave Last Days" exclusive, The National Enquirer (I know, I know) seem to think that Andy Williams is nearing the end. Andy Williams sounds like a good'ish bet. 84 years old and recently diganosed with bladder cancer. But I'm not sure how agressive it is. (I'm doubting that the NE story has been deeply fact-checked)Also, incredibly rich and so will be getting excellent treatment. Good outside bet and little more going on what we know.

I don't think the Cappello/ Redknapp stories (story?) will get that much attention on here.I haven't used this forum much lately but if I remember rightly most Deathlisters don't support Premiership teams and don't take all that much notice of England. It's mostly Championship, League 1,and even non-league supporters on here. But if we find out that he resigned because of extreme ill-health and only has a few months to live.....

It'sabit like Thatcher for me. Partly I hope he doesn't die because I admire him, partly it's because I hate the people who will be happiest when he goes.

    Richard O'Sullivan

Do forgive me. There is in fact health news regarding Mr.O'Sullivan. I simply hadn't read down to the bottom of the page. " Great actor, very funny indeed! I have the whole series of "Robin's Nest" still to watch on dvd. I met Tony Britton after a play he did, he gave me his autograph and i asked if he'd seen Richard recently, his reply was "he's not too well at the moment" " Admitedly this was posted a little over a year ago but it does count as news. Does anyone else have anything recent on Mr.O'Sullivan?

    Richard O'Sullivan

In fact I have been very remiss. There is a far better fan page here. https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=66876955308 It does not have any recent health news regarding him but there is plenty of critical opinion. (" Telly just aint the same without dear....dear old dickie ;-)", " I was just a little Autralian girl but I thought he was so handsome!! What's he up to now days??!...........Oh I see from the link below, he had a stroke : ( ", etc) If we could get an accurate evaluation of Mr.O'Sullivan's health would there be any chance of getting him on the main list for 2013?

    World War I Veteran(s)

Hadn't thought of it like that. If you remember soem aspect of the actual conflict (a battle happed in your village when you were 5 or something) are you technichally still a veteran? As someone above said, don't lock the thread. There will certainly still be one or two who claim surviing veteran status.

    Zsa Zsa Gabor

I like what he American comedian Patton Oswalt said about her; that she was dying a pirate's death. They take away a leg, she keeps going, they take aw an arm and then a bit of jaw but she keeps going. I prsonally wouldn't hher on the list for this year just on the grounds of her resilience. She won't be going soon even with her health problems.

    Ian Paisley

The good Revd will not be dying nay time soon. He looks as strong as an ox.

    Prince Philip Duke Of Edinburgh

Looks remarkably healthy, particularly considering his recent illness. As does his good lady wife. http://www.news.com....i-1226263582540 Neither of them are a candidate for the main list any time soon.
