Greavsie is warming up on the touchline. Sir Alf won't stop him this time.

I bet you do a lot of pulling off. As someone once said to me and a good friend: "Knock it on the head you two...or I'll have you both stay behind after class." Bruno and me, just be funning. He knows I do love him so. Who couldn't love that whimsical wacko.

I love Georgie, yes I do, almost as much as I love you. Bruno my peachy little flubber monster, don't let your prejudices out of the bag. I know, and you know that Georgie is a prince amongst men.

Justifyable(sic) Where's that gun.

I voted yes to the death penaly, but only if it's done by firing squad, that at least has some style.

Judy Finnegan if scurrilous rumours are to be believed. -
Yes it is, it's legal.

Best, bitter? No. He picked his path, He paid the price.

It's screw off balloon heads such as you who make me love Georgie all the more. He is a fine man and a wonderful President, too bad your ignorance and desire to post 5 billion drivel posts keeps you from seeing it. (and for those who want to whine about how I should not post political statements, keep in mind I ain't the one who started this.) Ah Bruno, premature ejaculation as usual. At no point in my statement did I say that I loathed and despised Georgie. While no fan of his, I do find him somewhat entertaining. Reminiscent of watching a chimp at play.

George Best's lingering is really becoming annoying now. For gods sake switch the ventilator off!.

I find it quite amusing that people dont get the point of the site, hmm must be the confusing domain name you have I mean it really doesnt tell you what its about does it Just a query are most of your ranters US based then...I am UK girl myself. Harvester: pleased to know I wont make the list and equally pleased I am not famous enough to do so! and just a note about another person who I think is on your list (not thoroughly checked though) G Best is in his final hours. T x Sadly George Best isn't on the '05 DeathList, we were all rather hoping he'd make it to the end of the year so he could be an early success for '06. No chance of that now, barring a miracle. The ranters, I would say aren't predominantly US based. Probably just as many UK ones.

I saw that one coming, I just didn't want to be the one to risk a political flamewar. The only George Bush fan here is Bruno. And I choose to believe he is being ironic.

Send a PM to this chap

George W Bush, Loathed and despised throughout the world.

From what I can find out Ernest Borgnine appears to be in good health and still working, there is nothing to indicate that he's likely to die any time soon. Probably not a good selection for '06.

Because if WE as a community or a forum can produced a series of rationale that are solid and intelligent enough, it'll be more difficult to the DL Committee to ignore OUR suggestions. Thus, in that way, it becomes OUR decision of gets picked for the next list. Committees, by their definition, provided an informed decision to an uninformed mass. Unlike with most committees, however, the DL Committee has the final say. Anyone on the forum who elevates himself above "uninformed mass" and becomes a provider of said information thus becomes a sort of phantom part of the actual committee. So this WE is anyone who helps influence the committees decision, which means people such as yourself Mr. Brimley, and any others who are able to contribute in a meaningful way. The DeathList committee only really consists of one person; GR Though I'm sure he does take note of what is suggested.

Disney/ABC radio personality Paul Harvey, one of the most widely listened to commentators in the United States, presented his listeners on June 23 with an endorsement of genocide and racism that would have been right at home on a white supremacist shortwave broadcast. Harvey's commentary began by lamenting the decline of American wartime aggression. "We're standing there dying, daring to do nothing decisive because we've declared ourselves to be better than our terrorist enemies--more moral, more civilized," he said. Drawing a contrast with what he cast as the praiseworthy nuclear bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II, Harvey lamented that "we sent men with rifles into Afghanistan and Iraq and kept our best weapons in their silos"--suggesting that America should have used its nuclear arsenal in its invasions of both countries. Harvey concluded: "We didn't come this far because we're made of sugar candy. Once upon a time, we elbowed our way onto and across this continent by giving smallpox- infected blankets to Native Americans. That was biological warfare. And we used every other weapon we could get our hands on to grab this land from whomever. "And we grew prosperous. And yes, we greased the skids with the sweat of slaves. So it goes with most great nation-states, which--feeling guilty about their savage pasts--eventually civilize themselves out of business and wind up invaded and ultimately dominated by the lean, hungry up-and-coming who are not made of sugar candy." According to these comments Harvey sounds a bit of a fascist. He also recently signed a $100 million 10 year contract with ABC radio networks, so is unlikely to die anytime soon.

I agree... even though I can't say I'dve ever heard of him if I hadn't been on this forum, and that most other DLers haven't had much interaction with him, that doesn't discard the fact that he was famous in his day. Agreed, I think that's a question that rarely gets answered on these forums. I couldn't find anything myself, but then again I'm not the best with search engines. We should be treating ALL potential candidates with this much discussion I think... I feel a lot of good candidates have been glossed over. I can't find anything out about his current health. But I have tracked down his address and telephone number. Don't think it would be a good idea to give him a call though, "hey cliff, planning on dying soon?". Probably won't go down too well.
