Haakon Lie a 101 year old Norwegian politician, apparently the world's oldest. Rather an appropriate name for a politician really.

    Andy Fraser

Does he really warrant his own thread? Is he likely to die soon? If not then who cares. He probably cares Yep, that's true. I apologise for my grouchy post. Still people can live with being HIV positive for years and years, just look at "Magic" Johnson, 15 years and still going.

    Osama Bin Laden

Tempus, if you were president, how would you want to kill Bin Ladin? He can't be shot because then he would die thinking he's Jesus. I say we have a big circus in Yankee stadium. Tickets, pocorn, and we hang the sum bitch. All the money that is raised goes to the kids who lost there parents. Then I would put his death on every radio station, and every telivison channel in Iraq. I wouldn't kill him, I'd dress him in a fluffy yellow chick costume and make him perform to the Birdie Song on prime time TV. Possibly followed by Agadoo with all the correct actions, that should nicely destroy his credibility.

    Osama Bin Laden

They're saying now that he may have a water-borne virus and that he's probably not dead ... If somebodys dead, show me the money. Surely the corpse would be a might more useful.

    Brinsworth House and Denville Hall

I've just noticed that the Brinsworth House website now has a video on it you can watch. Presented by none other than Roger Royle, it also has Norman Wisdom at the end playing the piano.

Don't I get 5 points for D'Abreu, Anderson and D'Arcy Hart for being unique picks?

Dandelion and Burdock with Quavers! What a culinary faux pas, I thought everyone knew that only Vimto is served with Quavers.

    Pete Doherty

Pretty straightforward, surely? 1) Doherty has clearly had no effective musical training. 2) Doherty is not the brightest fairy light on the christmas tree. QED. 11 GCSE's and 2 A levels what a thicko Doherty is.

    Death Links

I remember reading those about a year ago when someone posted a link on a BBC forum. Makes for rather depressing reading, not least because of all the religious references.

On the Hall of Teams page I'm missing a F*ck, it says F*ck F*ck Fuckety F*ck instead of F*cK F*ck Fuckety F*ck F*ck. This displeases me greatly. Apart from that little mistake well done CP.

    Ideas and possibilities for 2007

I don't think she'd get a broadsheet UK obit, but I bet the tabloids would do a piece on her death and that would count for DDP purposes.

Surprising as you might find it, the Internet does extend out past the borders of the USA. In the lands that exist outside those borders, you may also be interested to learn that there are vast swathes of different cultures, music, languages, arts and all sorts of other weird things that you needn't waste your time with. I think it'll be beneficial for both you and the 6 billion or so non-USA-residents if you stay on your side of the line. Very well put. Nowt wrong with lime juce you scurvy git, At the end of the day WE HAVE A HISTORY And a culture. Too true our hospitals are awash with culture, the Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus is an especially fine example.

    Opera

I quite often listen to The Who's rock opera 'Tommy', the original version not the goddawful soundtrack to the movie. Yeah, but everyone should see "Tommy" at least once, if for no other reason then to see Tina Turner vibrate. It scarred my son for life. Not having seen "Tommy", is this Tina's usual style of 'dancing' (legs wide open and vibrating like a washing machine on the spin cycle) where she looks like she's accidentally manufactured a dog-egg and is attempting to subtly flick it down her leg whilst styling it out as some sort of wobbly-legged dance manouver? Courtesy of You Tube, Tina's turn, er... scary. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmlNIZ6D-bc

28th March 2007 at 0800 hrs. Although as he's on my DDP team I rather hope he dies this year, but I don't think he will.

    Richard Hammond

Those wacky Top Gear presenters obviously took things a stage too far for their TV fun and games. I hope he recovers and learns a lesson from this incident. Don't f*ck about with jet powered cars!
