    Someone's Abusing Entropy

Huzzah for Martin from Skye say I. Keep fighting the good fight sir, let not the unbelievers cause thee to deviate from the true path. Evolution, is after all just a theory and not a fact.

    The Kings Of Tonga

This post earlier today was my whisper to Deathlisters that The King of Tonga, Taufa'ahau Tupou IV, was on his way out. Bollocks Your bollocks you mysterious son of a bitch. I predicted this, my post says the following... He was on the verge... I knew it. I take full responsibility for being aware. Thank you. Gerald Ford isn't going to die right now. Call back later I shall bask in the glory that time shall prove me right, tremble ye mortals at my omniscience.

    Running Out Of Time?

Good for you, nerd. I've tried to avoid this debate thusfar, but you do realize that there's a certain self-defeating quality in someone who has as many posts and hours logged on to an online Forum such as yourself arguing with other people on said online forum about how nerdy they are? (The same could be said about me, so don't bother pointing that out. I know, nay, embrace my nerdiness ) I'll happily embrace most things, except of course temperance and religion.

    Ian Huntley

Having perused the delights of the Trashcan, the only post of yours relating to Huntley is one that quotes from others, and contains nowt else. Which is why MH deleted it. What happened to the rant, maybe you imagined it. I said that it too easy for him to allow him choice over when and how he died. His victime had no such luxury. I went on to say that his fate should be decided at length by committees who would, over many years, constantly change their minds: reprieving him, re-condemning him etc. I suggested that the whole exercise would be based on Kafka's 'In the Penal Colony'. In the end he would be executed moments after being notified of his release. It was posted a few days ago and was definitely there in the last 24 hours. Does anyone remember it. Am I going mad? Now I know what must have happened, your reply to Handy's post got included in her quote. In other words it looked like your reply was really her post. You buggered up with the quote function. I'll correct it and restore to this thread

    Not Exactly Famous...

Matt Gadsby a player for Conference side Hinckley United collapsed and died during a match, he was 27.
  10. I found it hilarious. I can not see a Brussels sprout to this day without thinking, 'sprout mexicane.' Incidentally, Bottom was shown during the early evening children's slot on Swedish T.V. in the mid 1990's. (The television show, not the body part. You have to wait until 7 o'clock for that) I found it mildy amusing in a puerile way, but it was really just an overlong rehash of their Dangerous Brothers routine. Blandness is far more offensive to me.

    Boris Johnson

Boris is a genius, it takes rare skill, of almost Prince Philip standards to consistently keep insulting people. Make this man PM I say, anyone who can apologise like this deserves respect.

Bernard Green a former rugby league player who toured with the Kiwis in 1980. Dead aged 47 in a coal mine collapse.
  13. Just managed 2624 after a good few vodkas, alcohol intake definitely helps with this thing.

    Running Out Of Time?

The only suggestion thread for serious candidates for the following year's list, is this one; http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?...pic=714&hl= Maybe come December it should be pinned and people could add names they think should be on the '07 list and give a good reason why.

    Steven Adler

An excellent suggestion Phantom. A Quote from the man on his official fan site; That is the latest update from him posted in July, the forums on that site are full of fans posting about all the cancelled gigs due to his illness. I could well see him overdosing anytime, a useful outside bet.

    Claire Rayner

Claire (MRSA free) Rayner's touchy-feely opinion on John Hogan

    Running Out Of Time?

Why in buggeration was Claire Rayner left on this years list, I understand why she was first listed (MRSA), but she's recovered from that ages ago. GR hasn't logged on for almost a month!!

    Running Out Of Time?

DeathList's criteria are more strict than the DDP, but 7 out of 50 thus far is still pretty poor. It depends on what the reason for DL selection is, do you only choose those who are real prospects or do you throw in a few wildcards for the hell of it. What after all is Brooke Astor's real claim to fame? She is just a rich very elderly socialite who gives to charity.
  19. Tempus Fugit

    Running Out Of Time?

The DDP though is limited to 20 selections, so FF's 8 out of 20 would equate to a DL hit rate of 20 out of 50, making 7 out of 50 look pretty poor. 200!! Rotten Ali you post-whore.

    Death Links

Lovely You know, it's actually annoying that they didn't print the picture that drove them to that act. I for one would like to know exactly what they thought were digging for... Here's the picture of the literally frigid young lady, Laura J Tennessen, just underneath her picture is a link to the news story with pictures of the young deviants concerned.

and I certainly didn't see that one coming. A great shame. Barry Humphries would be more likely to go before Rolf Harris. Even though Barry Humphries is 4 years younger than Rolf Harris, he's had a few health problems, notably related to alcoholism. Are Humphries and Harris really Australians any more? They've both lived in the UK for decades. Who's the next real Australian likely to die? My money would be on Gough Whitlam.

    Clive Dunn

A bit of Dunn trivia, in the sitcom My Old Man Dunny's real life wife Priscilla Morgan played his daughter. Yet again Dunny was playing a character 20 years older than he really was, still a bit creepy though.

    Running Out Of Time?

I think towards the end of this year we really need to have a good review of how the candidates are chosen. OoO's thread should prove useful in narrowing down the selections to those with a good chance of dying in '07 The current list is awash with candidates who really aren't likely to die soon, eg Claire Rayner, Ingmar Bergman and Tony Curtis.

    Julie Andrews

S.O.B. is the film where Julie got topless. It was also William Holden's last film.
